nice laptop but no USB drive. Have to buy an adaptor to have that option. Of course the adapter is additional cost. My opinion is that adaptor should be included.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello mag,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry you are experiencing these issues. Below I have provided steps and links that should resolve these issues.
Brightness: 1. Press and hold the Windows () key, and then press the q key. 2. In the Search box type, settings. 3. In the search results list, touch, or click Settings (App). 4. Touch or click System. 5. On the Display screen, find the Adjust my screen brightness automatically option. Note: Some notebooks do not support this feature, and the option is not available. You can manually adjust the brightness using the slider bar under Change brightness for the built-in display, after making any desired changes, close the System window. 6. Touch or click the slider to toggle the option on or off. 7. Touch or click Apply. 8. Close the System window. Full Article: https://dell.to/2UgE6v9
We recommend running a hard reset then running a diagnostic test. Below I have provided the steps to both.
1. Power off the laptop. Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds. 2. Disconnect the AC adapter or power cord, and remove the battery. Note: For Dell laptops that have a non-removable battery, see the Dell knowledge base article How to reset Real Time Clock (RTC) to recover your Dell XPS, Dell Latitude, or Dell Precision laptop. Note: For certain Dell Latitude laptops, we recommend you try and recover the laptop using the forced ePSA method. See the Dell knowledge base article How to Use Forced ePSA to Recover from POST or Boot Failure. 3. Disconnect all external devices or peripherals like USB drives, printer cables, and media cards (SD/xD). 4. Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds to drain residual power. 5. Connect the AC adapter or power cord and the battery. 6. Power on the laptop. Full Article: https://dell.to/3iIh4GY Diagnostic Test: https://dell.to/37S183b
I bought this laptop to use for college work, and the keyboard is great and nice travel. The mouse pad is the perfect, and if you like this clicking sound, this is the laptop for you. The thin bezels make the laptop look very premium. I do not regret this purchase.
I have had my XPS for 10 days now and still love it. Great keyboard, great size, nice picture and boots up and shuts down quickly. I have had no bad issues whatsoever.
Excellent laptop, very fluid and fast till now, but the thing that i didn't like is that it come with only usb type c, you need to buy an adaptor so you can connect to hdmi, usb A or for ethernet
This is now my third XPS13. Each time I have some problem that forces me into another computer. However I like the no-frills option for work so I keep trying out the latest models. My last one filled up full of required apps and ran out of physical memory. I'm sure designed that way to force me into a new one. Hope the 512g lasts longer!
