[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is phone is so helpful when I am feeling lazy and I don't want to take out my tripod to take professional photos of my paintings, this phone acts as my tripod and camera to take perfect still photos.

Dead Pixels

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this phone but Samsung left a lot to be desired. Before getting into the cons I think it's worth mentioning this can be a good phone. It's UI and Android skin are reasonably good. I use the front screen much more than I expected, but I still wish it could do more. Software-wise the phone performs well under moderate use and has a buttery interface.
On the flip side, Samsung severally limits external system monitoring. I work as a battery scientist and like to monitor phone battery usage via AccuBattery, but Samsung's software actively limits pretty much all third-party software monitoring. AccuBattery is still usable to some extent but there's a very cumbersome process required to get it working.
More concerning is the fact after a month of use there are dead pixels. A couple days ago I noticed a cluster of dead pixels on the crease of the phone. The cluster doesn't seem to be getting bigger but it's concerning regardless. Thankfully the phone has a one-year manufacturing warranty, so I'll be getting a new one soon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Almost Perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first foray into the Z Flip series, and I wasn't sure what to expect. I haven't used a flip style phone in over 20 years, but the premise of this modern version intrigued me, so I took the plunge. After using it for over a month I only have a few issues the Z Flip 4. First, it seems taller than your average smart phone, and felt unwieldly in some instance, particularly when trying to use it while lying in bed. It feels too top heavy and kept wanting to fall towards me. Secondly, I wish it were just a bit wider, which would make typing out messages easier. I get why Samsung would want to keep the size down to a minimum because the whole point of this phone is it's compact size, but that's only when it's not being used. Why not offer a "pro" version that was wider, and maybe with increased specs inside? Thirdly, I find it near impossible to open this phone with one hand. Sure, I could do it, but I almost dropped the phone a few times attempting to. I'm not sure what could be done to make it easier to open with one hand, but my use may differ from others. Other than these issues the Z Flip 4 is an absolute delight to use, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a bit of nostalgia with a modern twist.

Does Everything I need and more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone prior to the release and had to wait. I was glad I did it. Samsung fixed my main complaint with the Flip 3, the battery. The Flip 4 I can use my phone all day and only charge it at night. If I am using it to Zoom Call I have to recharge in the evening.
I also really like color. I "splurged" and went with the red phone with gold trim. It is very lovely, and I bought a clear case as the deal did not have clear cases in the deal. Also, the case I did receive had sticky tape to secure the case to the phone. Personally, I don't want sticky tape on my phone with the really cool color scheme.
The line is still there, but you can see from the photo it is not bad. The line is far outweighed by the fact that I can fold this phone and put it in my pocket. As a woman I can tell you that pockets in women's clothing are about 1/5 the size of a man's pocket.
I have dropped my phone with no damage. The phone comes with a screen protector already installed and I always have a case on my phone. Also, the phone was folded when I dropped it.
I have not spent a lot of time setting things up and I still having trouble getting both panels to work at once. Turning on the touch pad is very easy, but I am not sure that is necessary. When I fold the video automatically jumps to the top, but I am unable to send a message. I have to open it up and send the message the same as with any other phone. I am "gone" from the meeting.
