Everything I had hoped for

Ready to give up the maintenance on my gas mower. This one has plenty of power, even self-propelled, for my hilly 1/4 acre neighborhood sized lot. Easy-peasy. Recommend to anyone.

My all-time favorite lawnmower!

When my old gas lawnmower finally conked out, I purchased this lawnmower as a replacement. I had never had an electric one, and was more than a little skeptical about how well it would do the job. First, I tried it with the grass catcher on it. It worked fine until I went to empty the grass catcher. It held so much grass that I had to struggle to empty it. (I do not have a lot of strength.) Then I tried it with the side discharge, which worked fine but left me with grass to rake up. Then I tried using it with the mulch feature. Perfect! No grass to rake, no emptying the grass catcher, and no fighting a heavy gas lawnmower! A side benefit for me is that the lawn looks much better and there are now fewer weeds in my yard. This lawnmower glides easily across the yard and the height levels are easy to change.
I am totally satisfied with my Greenworks lawnmower, and if something were to happen to it, I would definitely buy another one!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I can mow 2500 Sq ft using one 4ah battery. It's so quiet, the neighbors should be so happy. It's great to have self propelled mowing, I love it. The cut is excellent, just make sure your blades are sharp. My city gave me cash to dismantle my old gas machine. I love it.

Starts and runs fine, once I got it. Cut the yard with battery life to spare but the self propelled is awkward. I have a smaller yard with lots of obstacles so I need to go back and forth quite a bit so the self propelled is useless for alot of the yard. You have to pause before you can pull it back. Even on the straight part of the yard it was still awkward to engage the SP. I found myself holding the SP handle with one hand and the other handle with my other hand. I felt like I was fighting the mower. I have only cut the yard once. I want to give it another shot to see if I can get use to it but considering a return.

I like the mower but it has an issue I'd like to have resolved. I put in a ticket that has yet to be viewed on the 'battery switch over' function. When one battery is depleted I have to remove both batteries and reinsert them into the same slots before it will recognize there is a second battery. Even when I'm using a single battery I need to add / remove a full battery twice before it will start back up. The reason this is such a large issue for me is because I actually waited until a model came out with this function... I didn't want last year's model that had a 'storage space' and this is honestly worse with the work-around I'm using.
Side discharge is basically useless since it throws grass about 4-6 inches so it all clumps up on the side. Mulching function is what I use and that works great. Bagging works fine but I generally only use that to clean up leaves in the fall.
The smart pace works very well so far. When I need to pull it backwards I just stop pressing on the self drive lever for a second and it works just fine. Very small learning curve but it is something to get used to.
Mower run time is about 3 of the 4 ah batteries to complete my 1/3 acre lawn (not an issue since I have 3 of them, but it is something to watch out for)

HORRIBLE! The self propelled mower didn't self propell. The single plastic blade hit and mised mowing spots irregularly over my entire lawn. The company wouldn't acknowledge the several emails I sent asking for help nor did they send me a return shipping label. Don't use this company if you expect good quality service and products- you won't find those things here.
