Works like a charm

I got the mower just about a month ago and it sure has made mowing the lawn so much easier. My son recommended it and he sure was right on. We both love our new quiet mowers. It cuts so much better than my old gas mower.

Everything I had hoped for

Ready to give up the maintenance on my gas mower. This one has plenty of power, even self-propelled, for my hilly 1/4 acre neighborhood sized lot. Easy-peasy. Recommend to anyone.

My all-time favorite lawnmower!

When my old gas lawnmower finally conked out, I purchased this lawnmower as a replacement. I had never had an electric one, and was more than a little skeptical about how well it would do the job. First, I tried it with the grass catcher on it. It worked fine until I went to empty the grass catcher. It held so much grass that I had to struggle to empty it. (I do not have a lot of strength.) Then I tried it with the side discharge, which worked fine but left me with grass to rake up. Then I tried using it with the mulch feature. Perfect! No grass to rake, no emptying the grass catcher, and no fighting a heavy gas lawnmower! A side benefit for me is that the lawn looks much better and there are now fewer weeds in my yard. This lawnmower glides easily across the yard and the height levels are easy to change.
I am totally satisfied with my Greenworks lawnmower, and if something were to happen to it, I would definitely buy another one!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fun to use

I can mow 2500 Sq ft using one 4ah battery. It's so quiet, the neighbors should be so happy. It's great to have self propelled mowing, I love it. The cut is excellent, just make sure your blades are sharp. My city gave me cash to dismantle my old gas machine. I love it.

I bought this about a month ago and not disappointed at all. It lighter than my old gas one. No fumes or gas smells in garage anymore.

Good Mower Need extra Batteries & Self Propelled ?

I've had this mower for 2.5 yrs very happy with it. You need to buy more batteries, mine came with (1) 5ah which only ran for maybe 20 min so i ended up purchasing 2 more batteries. I have a .25 acre lot that's including the house & garage on it so really not a lot to mow & (1) battery wouldn't do the front yard I got (2) more when they were on sale that way i could complete the whole yard while the first battery was charging. The self propelled mode works ok at first then dies out once the battery gets low so overall great mower needs extra batteries & don't spend extra on self propelled unless you have just a small yard.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

Starts and runs fine, once I got it. Cut the yard with battery life to spare but the self propelled is awkward. I have a smaller yard with lots of obstacles so I need to go back and forth quite a bit so the self propelled is useless for alot of the yard. You have to pause before you can pull it back. Even on the straight part of the yard it was still awkward to engage the SP. I found myself holding the SP handle with one hand and the other handle with my other hand. I felt like I was fighting the mower. I have only cut the yard once. I want to give it another shot to see if I can get use to it but considering a return.

Thank you for taking the time to review our product we always appreciate customer feedback! the self-propelled feature is not usable in reverse. They are designed to lock when pulled back to prevent damage to the drive belt. To pull the mower back, disengage the self-propelled lever.
