Chain Won't Stay On

So far, I have spent more time putting the chain back on than I have using the saw. Very annoying!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sorry to hear that the unit is performing to your expectations. Chains stretch with use. When new, they stretch more. The tension on a new or newish chain should be checked and tightened every 20 minutes of cutting or so, it can get away from you fast. This is normal stretching. Tension techniques can be found in the owner's manual. If you require additional assistance, pleas contact us directly at 1-888-909-6757 and we will provide an instructional guide to help you navigate the tension on your chain. Makes life easy!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to help trim some taller trees in my yard. First I was impressed with the cutting power, it was more than I was expecting. Battery life was plenty for what I was doing. Tool made my work much easier and simple. After this I purchased a weed eater, chainsaw and hedge trimmer! I love greenworks products, good quality and affordability!
