No need for a ladder

I’ve only used this a few times but it saves you from going up and down the ladder to trim higher bushes and hedges. It can feel a little heavy at times depending on reach and angle

EXCELLENT MACHINE...More than what I expected and more. I got about 45 mins to 1 hour battery life before I recharged it. I was able to fell two large trees in my yard. My neighbors all stood in awe as the 8" blade was cutting like a full chain saw. The only down side is that it "drinks" oil, but I already got my moneys worth from just two days of work.

I love this pole saw. I have used to trim branches off of trees, cut up the branches, cut back overgrown brush and to cut large vines which will grow up trees and strangle them. The ten foot extension allows me to reach higher to limbs that needed to be cut off. All of the other pole saws I researched had only eight foot extension. I have had no problems using it. The battery has last at least three hours in constant use. I would highly recommend this pole saw.

kobalt 8" Pole saw w battery

This has been a great investment for us. We trim trees around our farm and it is easy to transport in the pieces in the UTV for trail maintenance. It is lightweight and can be used with or without the extra connection. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the recall that took me over two hours on the phone to get set up for it to be fixed.

Hello, I got this to make it easier to trim low hanging limbs around our 10 acres. Took it to a property clean up at our church. After a gas powered pole saw got bent, I switched to this one. I was amazed at how well it cut through some very large limbs. Did hours of cutting with one 6 ah battery and the same chain. We were all amazed at the work it did!

I've only had my pole saw for a week but have already used it multiple times. Light weight, cuts smoothly and rapidly, even on hard wood's like walnut and oak. More than adequate battery life. I give out before the battery does! Easy-to-use tension adjustment for chain. Make sure to keep track of bar oil resivour, although enough capacity to make numerous cuts
