[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only bad thing about this computer is the screen. To see clearly, you always have to see the screen from the front, if you move a little it looks bad (blurry). In tablet mode it looks very bad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Still pretty early for real-life feedback, but I've been a loyal Lenovo customer and got a Yoga for my oldest when it was his turn. Been very happy with all the Lenovo laptops we've purchased and I don't expect this to be any different. So far my son has been very happy with everything, the look, specs, features, etc.

Great flexible formfactor with Thinkpad Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice build quality. We had other Yoga models, but they seemed much more fragile. The Thinkpad line brings better materials in the build to make a more sturdy product in a great form factor. The battery life is great ad well as the overall performance. The screen seems to attract more fingerprints and smudges than another Yoga model. The port options are convenient. Ultra slim and portable, but no compromise in ability.

I honestly do not have experience with a wide enough array of laptops to know what a 5 star computer would feel like in comparison to others so I am playing it safe with an average and very satisfactory rating.
After reading too many reviews of too many products, I decided to transition back to a PC from a Macbook Pro for my law school experience. I have yet to grasp all the shortcuts and amenities that the ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 5 (14”) 2-in-1 Laptop has to offer. That being said I appreciate the sleek design, light weight, battery life, and screen flexibility. The pen and touch pad are also tremendously convenient. I appreciate that the OS allows users to sync android and apple phones alike. I do find that I am not typing as quickly on the keyboard, but I am hoping that it is a matter of adjustment. The computer also pushes the utilization of Notes, but I am partial to the Google drive options for the ease of access between devices, my established familiarity, and widely accepted sharing capabilities. In order to get the most out of the computer, I believe that I do need to spend more time re-watching the provided videos to sort out the shortcuts and perks of the device that feel less intuitive after utilizing a Mac for years. For now the speed and maneuverability are more than enough to validate my purchase for the academically rigorous 3 years ahead.
