[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleased with this Lenovo 2 in 1 laptop. Set up with a Lenovo docking port and 2 external monitors. Thin and light so easy to transport when travel kicks in again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had it a couple of weeks and so far so good. I've had a series of Lenovo for the last 15 years, always 2-in-1 as I use them for teaching and am dependent on writing on my screen. As with my previous, this is study and substantial enough so to feel comfortable in my hands (I find some other laptops feel too fragile like I would break them if i wasn't extra careful). One 'con' is that the keyboard is a bit louder than my previous laptop (Yoga 920), although it is just possible that the 920 was soooo quiet I got spoiled.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy to upgrade to this thinkPad. My old ideapad lasted way longer than I would have expected & I expect this one to be around quite awhile as well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My prior laptop was the LavieZ 360 probably my most favorite computer Lenovo ever made. I was a little disappointed in the weight of this tablet. My Lavie Z 360 is probably half the weight. However there are differences. The speaker quality on the new laptop blows the LavieZ 360 out of the water. I am concerned about the longevity of my battery with this laptop. Time will tell which is why I got the warranty on it. I wish it did have more USB ports as I will have to buy a USB port adapter to add more so I can use my external dvd player. I have more things to learn about the computer itself as I go. I had to replace as my old laptop LavieZ 360 battery is no longer available.
Excellent machine, with a few minor issues. The Icon tray at bottom of screen is not large enough to hold the basic icons. Thus you have to switch from half tray to other half. Very inconvenient. Skimpy on USB ports, however using a outboard USB port solves issue.
Compared to my Yoga 2 Pro this X1 is leaps and bounds ahead on all fronts. Battery life, display, speed, and 2-in-1 flexibility. Combined with a Lenovo Thunderbolt 3 dock it replaces a desktop tower.
