It has the power and processing speed need to handle all of my tasks and the 2:1 versatility is great for when I'm on the go. Battery life has been excellent so far and really love the stylus pen for when I'm drafting up ideas with my suppliers and vendors. The first thing that strikes you about the ThinkPad X1 Yoga5 is how light it is.
But that’s just the beginning.
This is a well-designed laptop: the keyboard is easy to use, the 14” screen is bright, the ports exceed my requirements and it looks great!
This sleek machine machine enables me to work on various types of projects a from consulting to audio recording, to reading.
As a retired consultant, I have carried various laptops across the country. The ThinkPad X1 Yoga5 is the best laptop for traveling I have had.
I recommend it highly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second X1 Yoga. The first was excellent, but this one is better. Slightly smaller and the trackpad is much improved. However, it is the perfect keyboard that always brings me back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I am impressed by this laptop. It is fast, light & very flexible. The pen storage is very nice. The only thing that annoyed me was that they switched the location of Ctrl & the Fn keys, and if you are used to having the Ctrl key on the bottom left side, it can be frustrating. I know it can be switched in Bios but they should include stickers to change what is shown on the keys.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Thinkpad X1 Yoga works pretty seamlessly. After download some third party apps, I have all the tablet functionality I need as a grad student. I only wish the pen was a little more comfortable. I find myself accidentally pressing the "smart" buttons all the time, and it's a bit too small to be comfortable. Hoping I can buy an external smart pen that will work with this computer.
