So I have had my X1 Yoga for about a week. This is my second Thinkpad. The first one was a fully loaded bells and whistles T-530 which served me wonderfully, and still works exceptionally well. I wanted a touchscreen which could act as tablet as well, and for that the X1 Yoga is as expected, an exceptional computer. The reason for the reduction of a star is the left mouse button is squishy and does not have a clean click or clean travel and awkwardly placed in comparison to the track pointer. I'm really having a hard time with it, and to be honest, I really dislike it and has ruined my experience with the keyboard and stresses me out every time I use the computer now. The T530 had a seperate set of smaller mouse buttons associated with the track pointer which were handy and felt nice. My familiarity with the track pointer is the only reason I bought the X1 Yoga which is a 14" display, and I would have preferred a 15" 2in1 instead, but the track pointer was quite important to me. So needless to say I'm quite disappointed and hope that somehow I can overcome the strange placement and squishiness of the mouse button. Will have to start using my left thumb instead of right thumb to operate the mouse button. Other than that, it works perfectly and would not want any other computer, and a very significant amount for something I expect to last 10 years.

I love the weight and size, the overall build is solid, and the body does not show fingerprints (although the screen does). The keyboard is great, and the display is bright with sharp images and brilliant colors. The camera and microphone are fine for Zoom meetings. The port combination is adequate, but a USB C dongle is needed for an ethernet port and a micro SD slot. My build included 4G LTE mobile broadband, and it works great. The sound is rich, although the volume won't fill a room. With the The fingerprint scanner works although it likes one finger more than another. The pen is a plus, but I have not mastered its use. The battery life seems fine, but I need to use it more to really test it.
