[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop provides very seamless transition between "computer" use and "tablet" use, so highly recommend it if you like the feeling of a tablet and a touch screen but require the horsepower of a powerful computer. The computer itself is very sleek and I like the ability to open the laptop with face recognition and a quick PIN as an alternative too.

The X1 yoga is sleek and very portable, without losing the ThinkPad qualities I love, like the track point and TouchPad buttons. The sound is loud and crisp and I am excited to explore using it in tablet mode. The buttons and keyboard layout feel great for touch typing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered 2 and both had the same issue of the microphone and sounds disappearing after use. after restart it would fix but then go out again. After updating many drivers it was repaired only to stop working again it seems to be the
Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology (Intel(R) SST) OED driver. Still waiting to see if the latest update holds.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this laptop. The X1 Yoga is thin and lightweight, and feels solid and durable. It starts quickly and the display is crisp and bright. The ability to use it as a tablet is very nice as it allows me to have one less device to maintain. The X1 is quiet and does not generate much heat, a big improvement over my last laptop. My only complaint is that the built in speakers don't sound great, they have a bit of static, but when using headphones it sounds normal.
