This is the third time I have purchased a computer from Lenovo. The reason is that Lenovo is a great company that builds great computers at a great price. This one was for my wife who is going back to school again. She needed it is a short amount of time and had to have certain things on it. I jumped on the website and attempted to build one, but the ship time was too long. I clicked the chat button and within minutes I was chatting with a rep. I told him what I needed and that I needed it to ship quickly. He sent me an email with a quote for review. I looked it over and it had everything she wanted. All I had to do was complete the order, which took about five minutes. I got the confirmation email and a tracking number the next day. The computer arrived about week after I ordered it. My wife opened it up and went right to work on it. I have never been disappointed, and neither has my son who also has a Lenovo computer.

Fan making additional clunking noise. Returning

Took a month to ship from China and again 10 days after shipping to reach. 35-40 days is too long a wait. This feedback if after latest bios updates.
CPU continuously hovers around 120F even when no background process or application is running. It's not peak that's the default temperature.
A regular task of streaming 4k video, cpu gets above 200F sometimes, but it's almost always above 180F. For a brand new m/c this is not right.
To add to it when machine fan is working hard, it's giving a clunk sound (like a stick pocking fan blades) and one feels assembly is wrong. It's not just fan noise, it's over and above it like some part is loose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before purchasing I had heard that the battery life was subpar, and it is. However, the performance has been find so far with minimal complaints. The touch screen and pen work well together, though it is still new to me. Definitely recommend if you're considering this laptop for light school and work but the battery life is subpar and does hold it back compared to competitors.
