Just received my new Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen 5 - nice smooth feel and responsive keyboard and all around good choice for an upgrade from my 10 year old Thinkpad T410s. Although the new Thinkpad X1 is running super hot which surprises me since the new Thinkpads are supposed to run much cooler....

The design is sleek metal, the keyboard is a delight to use and backlit with multiple settings, and the active pen works great in its charging dock (though the pen itself is smaller than I expected, only about 5 in long). The processing speed is amazing, and the battery lasted 9 hours while downloading and installing a bunch of programs. Very happy so far!

Keyboard is gentle and bouncy; I am a diehard Lenovo user because of this keyboard. The whole thing is super light and compact. Wish there was a 15” version though!
