[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The X1 Yoga has a lot of what I need and some of what I don't. The 2-in-1 for factor is great for travel and collaboration. I use the pen often to make notes and adjust designs on the fly. While I knowingly mage sacrifices (smaller keyboard/no number pad). I am overall happy with the purchase. My only real complaint is the layout of the keyboard is different the others I have used and the keyboard also feels a little tight.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this machine, from its weight to its size and display. This little monster contains a massive 1TB SSD!! Crazy! It's fast, sleek, and worth every penny.
I don't usually get nuts about computers, but this computer is deeply satisfying to me. It's shockingly light-weight, beautiful, sleek, and feels very durable.
There have been a few little kinks, but they've been related to my choice of OS, which is Ubuntu Studio. Linux does fire right up on here, but the 4k display and wifi both require a minimum kernel version of 5.4, which I believe only ships with Ubuntus later than 20.04 (although you can install it for earlier Ubuntus with some effort). I don't know the deal with other distros, but whatever distro you use, it just has to have kernel >= 5.4.
All in all, I've been happy enough to keep the machine and I have very much enjoyed using it. I've used the touch screen as well as the included pen on linux and both work very well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second X1 Yoga, the first was a Gen 2 purchased in 2017. I continue to be thrilled with the performance, quality, reliability and value.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it is just what I was looking for. A couple of bugs with the stylus buttons holding their settings but, other than that, no complaints.
