This machine is fantastic! My husband is Italian, and we have never been able to find reliably good Italian pizza in the US. The Pizzaiolo is like a little miracle: we use the Wood Fired setting to make authentic Neapolitan-style pizza in about 2 minutes per pizza. I make the dough in advance, using Italian "00" flour, water, olive oil, and yeast -- and each pizza is perfect. Thin, crispy, delicious. It's fun to experiment with different toppings, and we have already hosted several gatherings of friends, who all love the pizzas that come out of this little machine. My only complaint is that I didn't discover this machine years ago!
Absolutely amazing oven. Closest thing to a legit wood fired oven for safe use inside. Heats up in 20minutes and create amazing pizzas. Save up for one, if you enjoy making pizza you must get this oven.
Love the pizzaiolo! It gets extremely hot to cook authentic pizza. Set up is easy and once it reaches temperature, it stays hot. We are learning so much about creating delicious pizzas with this oven. it's not too large or heavy and can be moved around, even taken outdoors. Fairly easy to keep clean too.
I love the way pizza turns out using this pizza maker. I was in love with it until after the four time using it, and the pizza stone just cracked in half for no reason. I thought, no problem, as I only had the maker for two months and it is still in the warranty period. However, I was told that the warranty does not cover parts, but they will send me out a replacement, just this one time. I can’t imagine that a warranty would not cover parts, for what is any product, but a sum of its parts. So anyway, I now wait for my replacement stone so I can make more yummy pizza, but I am worried that the stone will break again after a few more uses, and then I will be on my own to fix it, even if it is still under warranty. Thus, I unfortunately can not recommend this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We absolutely enjoy our Breville Smart Oven Pizzaiolo. We have dedicated Saturdays as our brick oven pizza (BOP) day! The instructions for use were easy to follow, and the recipes for pizza sauce and dough are a cinch. And the “hints & tips” are extremely useful.
We keep and use our Pizzaiolo in our outdoor kitchen. My husband and I have so much fun making our pizzas and coming up with all sorts of creative things to put on them. The sky really is the limit on what you can top your pizza with.
Clean up is easy; we do not put our pizza directly on the pizza stone. We put them on our pizza pans and put that on the stone. We even have a few extra pans so when our friends come over, we pop an extra pizza or two in our Pizzaiolo for them as well.
If you are thinking about buying a Breville Pizzaiolo pizza oven, stop thinking and start enjoying. You will not be disappointed!
Right now you're sitting there loving pizza and wishing for an authentic Neapolitan pizza with all the leopard-spotting. You're thinking, I would love to have that every week, but then you think of the price. It's expensive yes, but here's the hard honest truth: You will NEVER be able to get pizza like this in your oven. I've tried pizza stones, metal pizza steels, and all kinds of techniques. Nothing comes close to this. Those extra 200-250 degrees just make all the difference. This thing is engineered like some kind of blast furnace. It's got insulation around the electronics so that the insane temperatures don't cook it all to the ground. Yes, cheese on the brick oven setting will spontaneously combust. Flour will turn into miniature fires in this oven. You will watch, half aghast, half in awe as this thing does what it does. If you buy this, you're going to have to accept that you're no longer the person you used to be. That yes, you spent a week or a month's pay on something you didn't really need. The thing is you do. There will be no returning to normal life after you fire this thing up. You'll understand why some people flew on the Concorde, why some people build swimming pools with clear bottoms above a dining room. You'll know that you created something you never thought possible and that you don't regret a thing.
