This little device is amazing. We’ve only used it a few times so far, but the fact that I was able to open the packaging, set it up, plug it in, and cooked some homemade dough into a gorgeous pizza within 20 minutes is astounding. So user-friendly. Maybe those other ones that are gas- or wood-fire-powered are better, as many folks will argue, but this one is for those who just want delicious pizza for zero effort.
I absolutely love this pizza oven. I can make pizza anytime without worrying about the outside weather. I’ve been using it almost every day to make pizzas for everyone. It easy to use, and get the pizza cooked so fast when doing the wood fired option. I’ve done the other styles as well and the results are just phenomenal!
Since this is my second replacement oven (count this one as #3), I have a hard time giving this anything but a 1. Time will tell if this one holds up. Seriously expected much better quality given the cost of this.

The independent closed loop controllers above an below the pizza allow you to make any style pizza you want. I thought a lot about cheaper gas and wood units before deciding I wanted the electric Smart Pizzaiolo. This unit makes it so easy to get consistent results. I can now consistently make a quite authentic Naples Magherita which cooks to perfection in 2 minutes. I have had NM several times in Naples, Italy but struggled to find it near Boston. I also have been using the included pan to make top notch Boston South Shore Bar pizza at home. I will try a NYC style next I guess for variety sake. The controls are well thought out and make it simple to make any style with consistency. It comes with really helpful recipe cards for different styles to quick start you.
I bought a second oven(round stone) for a family vacation home, first use on first pizza the stove cracked. Seems like others complain of the same problem. After investing over 1K, you’d expect to be able to bake more than one pizza. The older version also has a better stone (imo) in that it has a squared front to help you load the pie without things falling through, the newer version allows for food to easily get under the stone and burn onto the oven causing a huge mess. However, besides the poor design of the round, smaller stone, having it crack on its first use is disappointing. Customer service was of minimum help and since this is now my 4th Breville purchase, two being the pizzaiolo, I am very disenchanted that they don’t seem to care about service after purchase. They told me that they wouldn’t replace the stone. Now I’m stuck with an expensive pizza oven with a cracked stone. We had been enjoying our first pizzaiolo and wanted to not lug it back and forth so splurged on a second one. Now it sits unusable. I expect more from a high end appliance and it’s brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Makes the best pizza! Definitely worth the price. I’ve tried many other options including a pizza box on my Lynx infrared grill and it’s definitely better! My family absolutely loves the thin crust pizza that we’ve made so far. I’ve had mine since 2017 and have made pizza with it at least twice a month
