I hate to admit it, but it's awesome!

I'm a Neapolitan pizza snob. Gotta be made with Caputo flour, San Marzano tomatoes, buffala mozzarella, sourdough starter, and a wood burning oven. There has to be a puffy cornice and leopard spotting on the crust, and it has to cook in about 90 seconds. That's just how it's done. Well, except for the wood burning part, this thing does it -- and does it perfectly. It's too easy. All those years perfecting my wood burning oven skills, thrown away, because any monkey can get it right with this oven. It's perfect every time.

We absolutely enjoy our Breville Smart Oven Pizzaiolo. We have dedicated Saturdays as our brick oven pizza (BOP) day! The instructions for use were easy to follow, and the recipes for pizza sauce and dough are a cinch. And the “hints & tips” are extremely useful.
We keep and use our Pizzaiolo in our outdoor kitchen. My husband and I have so much fun making our pizzas and coming up with all sorts of creative things to put on them. The sky really is the limit on what you can top your pizza with.
Clean up is easy; we do not put our pizza directly on the pizza stone. We put them on our pizza pans and put that on the stone. We even have a few extra pans so when our friends come over, we pop an extra pizza or two in our Pizzaiolo for them as well.
If you are thinking about buying a Breville Pizzaiolo pizza oven, stop thinking and start enjoying. You will not be disappointed!

Pizza when we need it.

We have had this unit since April 2020 and, it has served us well. The oven does what it dies very well and, efficiently. I would only say always order an extra Pizza Stone because even if you are very carful the coating is brittle and, if don’t wait until the stone cools you run the risk of it cracking. We wait 12-24 hours to clean the stone and even then never submerging it and the coating has aged and flaked in odd places. It is a great oven, we have had many pizzas and, hope to have many more. Thank you Breville.

We’ve been using this pizza oven for months with no issues and DELICIOUS pizza! It was a splurge, but if you order pizza even once a month you can justify the expense pretty easily. We moved from Chicago to an area with.... shall we say... LESS than great pizza.... this has been a flight for the whole family.

I have used this oven almost weekly for pizzas and nans for the last 3 months.I was very happy with the results until yesterday. I usually leave the oven with the stone inside to cool overnight. This morning when I came to put the oven away I saw that the pizza stone had craked in 2. The oven isstill on warranty so I hope I get a new stone but this seems to be a chronic problem for this oven. Perhaps the company should give their customers 2 stones to begin with as many other customers have complained about a similar problem. I make excellent professional quality nans in this oven and would rate it highly had I not had this bad experience. Kiran Barrington IL

I love this pizza!

I've had the pizzaiolo for a month now and love it! I'm still in the learning phase so I'm trying everything! And lots of variations. Grandkids have suggestions and requests as does my husband. I have not made a bad pizza, even when I forgot (okay twice) to turn the timer on and they got a little more charred than they should. They were still great pizzas!! My only concern is the cleaning. This thing gets very messy looking. So far wiping it down after it cools does work but I'm having trouble figuring out what Breville instructions mean by a 'spray cleaner'. Easy off? I guess I will call soon. It's so worth the cleaning though!

Simply Amazing

I have had this for over a year now. It is simply amazing. The pizzas that it makes easily compare with those at any wood burning pizza establishment. I love how quickly and easily it heats up and then the deliciousness that slides out only minutes later is perfect. This oven is so worth the price and is exceptionally well made. If you are on the fence, take the plunge. You will not regret it. One note: Be very careful cleaning the pizza stone. It's a little on the fragile side. On another note: Breville customer service is without compare. I own this machine and the Oracle Touch. Breville is now my go to company now and for the future.

I have the second generation with the round stone also. The Pizzaiolo does what it promises as long as you stay within the boundaries the machine. It is a three trick pony that does those extremely well again with tweeks in deck and crust temps you can serve most tastes. I have a family of four and the Pizzaiolo does take time to come back up to temp for Naples style pizza, so there was a waiting time between each pizza of about one-three minutes so be aware of this in case everyone like to eat together and like each one hot out the oven because it may not be possible. I just purchased mine a week ago and just used it last night ran five pizzas through it and the crust settings were off for two out of five. The oven is expensive however, it is worth it, I was scepticle of all the rave reviews. Such a splurge is really a personal matter, we weighed our options and the Pizzaiolo has performed. Beyond our expectations.
