Pros: The build quality is exceptional. External surfaces stay cool/warm even when oven is set to very high temperature. Cons: The maximum size of 11" is unfortunate since many refrigerated and frozen pizzas are 12-14". No instructions for grocer-made fresh refrigerated pizzas--only a setting for frozen pizzas. No instructions for homemade pizzas using Boboli or other pre-cooked dough as a base.

As good as my outdoor pizza oven

Purchased a month ago for my NYC apartment and couldnt bd happier. I have a log cabin in NJ where I installed a beautiful wood burning outdoor oven imported from Italy. Have been using for 20 years but am selling my home and needed an appliance that could match mg outdoor oven and meet NYC code, i.e.-cant use propane gas. The Breville pizza oven was the perfect solution. Turns out pizzas as good as my wood burning oven and i can fire it up in 20 minutes vs 2 hours. Its a good size appliance but compact enough to store in my apartment.
This was a replacement for the one I bought in Jan 2020 and have loved. It was out of warranty when it failed. I doesn’t it in for repairs and you have me a new one. I’m delighted. I’m spoiled being able to make great pizza no matter what the weather.

My first pizza on the Pizzaiolo. OUTSTANDING!!! Taste like Italy! I think I love this machine. So easy to a great pizza.
I can’t stop making pizza on the wood fired setting! It’s so fast and easy. I love that I’m making it all from scratch now. It’s so much better than take out and I feel like it’s as good as what I get in my favorite little Italian pizza place!
I have had an outdoor, wood-burning pizza oven, imported from Italy, for about 25 years. I used to use it half a dozen times a year, at most. The pizza was excellent, but getting the oven going and managing the fire were challenging. I bought the Smart Oven Pizzaiolo about a year and a half ago. Since then, I have made pizza about every 10 days or so, and haven't used my REAL wood-burning pizza oven once since I got the Pizzaiolo - it's that good! It produces pizzas that are just as good, or better, than those I make in the wood-burning oven. With the Pizzaiolo, you're not limited to Neopolitan-style pizza. The design wizardry makes producing any style of pizza as easy as turning a knob. The Pizzaiolo can only handle one pizza at a time, and while it bakes up fast, it will still be more efficient to use the outdoor oven to feed a crowd. But for everyday use for a smaller group, it's the best. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
After using it for a few weeks the results are incredible. It really makes pizzas with Italian pizzas restaurants. My suggestion to the product developers is to put a light bulb like the Breville Pro Ovens and divert the smoke that comes out of the front door through a grill on the back or sides.
