Broken just after 3 months.

My milk frother stopped working just after 3 months. I discovered there's an issue with the internal sensor, which I later found out is quite common issue with this product. This happened just after the three-month warranty period (3 months and 4 days to be exact), and there seems to be no solution in sight.

This is a HORRIBLE disappointment. I had an old cheap and cheerful Breville Cafe Roma that lasted quite a while but when it was no longer pulling reliable shots I thought this would be a "fun" semi-auto, semi-affordable, semi-upgrade. I mean, at 500 you'd think the machine would be good at reliably pulling decent shots. But no. Unless we got a dud, this machine is incredibly unreliable at its sole purpose. The shots are inconsistent to the point where many times they won't pull at all. I've had to return it for service once already (under 6 mos of purchase) and what, now I have to again? What a joke. Thee WORST purchase I've made. For anyone deliberating, I would NOT chance it. I want my money back!!

We enjoyed this machine initially, it was great. However, the coffee will only be as good as the grind. It wore out our grinder in 2 months which was a nice encore grinder and so we had to keep buying replacement burrs constantly which became insane. Purchasing already ground beans were not as good as fresh, so we slowly stopped using it and went back to pour over and french press. Due to lack of use, bugs started living in the stagnant water and because you cannot take off all the machine parts easily, we weren't sure how clean it was after we spent 2 hrs cleaning and running water through. This was what really ended it for us. We ultimately stopped using it entirely.
If there was a proper way to clean it, and it didn't heavily rely on freshly ground beans to create a nice coffee, maybe I'd recommend it. Otherwise, I'm not sure it's any better than cheaper espresso machines that we've used before.
