oh my , this machine is faulty from the start and god help you if you deal with Breville Canada Customer service .

This bambino makes a decent latte without too much fuss and it works as quickly as the manufacturer claims. It can get a little messy but there are some tricks you learn fairly quickly to minimize the mess. Clean up takes a little more time than a Keurig machine but the Keurig doesn't make a latte like this. So far, my wife and I are pretty pleased with the drinks we can make and it doesn't take up much counter space. Just a little less clean-up and I would have given it 5 stars.

Good intro to expresso makers

Easy to learn and works well with basic coffee beans that have been ground in the past week. Makes a decent latte and is faster than filter coffee.
Small footprint limits needed counter space.
Youtube videos are more educational than the instructions for use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great unit, makes great coffee with complete control, but automatic as well. Milk steamer is awesome, milk done in under two minutes. Unit ready to go one immediately.

Missing parts

Machine came in a box that had a giant gaping hole in it... already a bad sign. I opened it up, and a big portion of the pieces were missing that are mentioned on the Best buy website, including:
1. Steam Wand Tip Cleaning Tool
2. Trimming Tool
3. Cleaning disc
4. Cleaning tablets.

Furthermore, upon second reading, I noticed best buy is the only place online that I have seen that sells this machine without the single-wall filter baskets, which are included in the manual that comes inside, and basically anywhere else you look at when buying the bambino plus. Does best buy purposefully take out the single wall baskets?
Why is best buy selling machines with missing pieces? how is there no QC to make sure this doesnt happen?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Machine for coffee lovers but novice barista

I have bought so many coffee machines mostly drip but was so disappointed by the watery coffee with no flavor , that I would end up buying from McD, Tims or Starbucks every other day. Hate spending that much money on coffee . Also when the weather was bad, I was not able to go out to buy coffee. This machine was way out of my budget but I wanted to have Starbucks style smooth cappuccino. My first espresso machine, so you can imagine I dont know anything about using it. I watched tones of videos on Breville barista express ,bambino plus and Delonghi dedica. Took the plunge in April 2023 when it was on Sale. First week had bitter coffee, not good shot and foamy milk. Watched more videos and by week 2 I got decent shot with great textured micro foam milk. This machine makes amazing micro foam. I am still using 6 month old Kirkland coffee bean as I need to finish it , before I can buy freshly roasted coffee beans, but even with that it makes decent coffee (no crema but flavor).
Anyone thinking to buy this machine , go ahead with your purchase. Its the best starter machine in the market. I have owned it for 2 weeks only and cannot stop raving about it. I will update this review if my review change.

I have been using it from last 6 months and have only good things to say about this beautiful machine. I get fresh cappuccino every morning ,tasting very close if not exactly to the store bought cappuccino . I think its difficult to make steam milk like you have in cafes which I attribute to the professional thousands of dollars worth of machine, but this one does fair justice compare to other machines. I use pressurized basket provided with machine, tried my hand with non-pressurized but couldnt get the cream no matter what.
I have used a lot of different coffee beans and the one that taste best is the cheapest Lavazza coffee bag from Costco which is $12-$13 on sale. It gives very rich creamy espresso shot and not bitter black.
Buy this machine, so far its good. For the price, I want it to last me atleast 3-4 year. Then I can say I recovered my money. Lets see.
