I was excited to receive this build. I enjoyed this build. I took it extra slow to be everything went right. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Then when done. Downloading the app and playing with it was just the coolest ever!

An excellent build

This model is cleverly designed and an extremely fun build. The full action of the keys is impressive, and the ability to “play” or “listen” to the piano has a magical quality to it. The model also achieves an elegant look that tends to transcend the material itself. Overall, a great build and one that will take a prominent display spot.

Regrets

IMO the pictures are misleading because no matter how hard I try I can't get the keys to all lay flat (and I've built it twice now - what am I doing wrong?!). Also, my motor is constantly sticking and needs fiddling with. When it works - it is lovely! However, I regret the purchase due to how much I have to mess with it to keep it moving. Get idea... I just think it needed a little more work before putting out there for consumers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed

I am an excellent Lego builder with a lot of experience. No matter how many times I tried, like many here, I could not get the keys to align. I also ran into a few other building issues. So I just decided to finish and it will be displayed but that’s it. Was looking forward to be able to play. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Packaging

I can’t review the product itself yet but I wanted to make note of the packaging through ordering online. The brown Lego labeled box came inside an obscure brown box. With Lego being a well sought out product and porch pirates everywhere, it was a thoughtful idea on the company to package it like so. With that being said, time to start building this beautiful set.
