Packaging

I can’t review the product itself yet but I wanted to make note of the packaging through ordering online. The brown Lego labeled box came inside an obscure brown box. With Lego being a well sought out product and porch pirates everywhere, it was a thoughtful idea on the company to package it like so. With that being said, time to start building this beautiful set.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Looks awesome but some mechanical issues

Build was fun....but when I got to the build of the "mechanism" I paused the build for a week or two trying to get the spacing right so it would rotate freely - never got it to work on its own. VERY, VERY disappointing.
She looks good, the keys do move but without the automation I can't give it a 5 star review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fun but simple

Im always in search for builds that have interesting and challenging parts or build sections to attach after the section is build. This one is decent with that. I enjoyed it and my wife, who wanted it as a decoration on a stand next to our piano very much likes it.

This is the best set ever! Not only was it fun to build, but it actually plays music! It will look amazing in my music room. I only wish there were more classy looking sets to create for display. My only microscopic complaint is the ‘strings’ are a super cheap plastic and arrived bent, so they look wonky on the piano close up. But otherwise this thing is perfection!

Wife loves it

Bought it as an anniversary gift for my wife as i got her into legos. This was her first real build as she was always stealing my builds. So she definitely loved it. Tedious like her typewriter but she loves it.

Nice but does not work well

This is a fun piece to build, but the motorized action does not work well at all. As I was building I periodically tested to make sure the crank shaft was still rotating ok. It was all fine until the build was complete. The action worked nicely a few times, but then it started jamming almost immediately. I changed the batteries to see if maybe the ones installed were too weak. It still jammed. It's still an impressive kit, but disappointing that the motorized part just jams up.
I would recommend this to a friend!
