Took me a while to build this one. It’s huge. Bigger than what I expected. Highly recommend this build. 100% worth the money. The designer did an excellent job.

This is my first ever Lego kit, so I have no frame of reference about it. So far everything seems ok, the directions are straightforward and clear. The biggest issue is digging through the bowl of parts to find the right ones needed for each step, but I imagine that's common on all builds.
I'm amazed how well the parts fit together, each subassembly snaps into place with ease.
Even though this kit is marked "expert" and I'm a Lego noob, that doesn't seem to be a problem. Follow the directions, get all pieces needed for each step before starting, pay attention to the drawings, and it works.
Not sure I'll get another Lego kit but this one is fun so far. I just hope Lego makes some sports bike or dual sport kits, as big cruisers aren't what I ride.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is so cool on SO MANY levels, but those who know my reviews know I don't let out any secrets. Trust me, I WANT to tell you but I can't. Put some lead in your boots while working on this because you're gonna have a hard time sitting still while working on it.
Here's a little secret that I'll share. The team outdid themselves with this instruction manual as they outlined the piece you're working on in red. This REALLY helps out an old timer like me.
The chain blew mind mind...whoops, no secrets. Great detail, great final look and as always, tons of comments. This is within my top 3 now. Here's a little secret I WILL share with ya...
I was so impressed with this that I bought a second one and am in the process of painting the fenders and fuel tank States Blue Pearl to match my scooter. Also placing vinyl decals on derby cover, breather cover and license plate to match scooter as well. It's easy to do Brother's...

This is a very good product with a "fat boy" design history book inside the box. It is very good to display it on my desk without taking lots of space, as well as play around on the floor with my dog. Love it!!!

Totally worth the work

The time to complete is deceptive because the chain kept dislodging another piece and it took days to figure out that the gear was in the wrong place, then more days to deconstruct to make the correction (deconstructing is hard! Pieces are inseperable once assembled and you need instructions). Once I got back far enough it flowed again , so total about 5 days. I'm impressed with the finished bike and I've seen my husband (owns a Fat Boy) looking at it (he likes it too).
