I'm Writing this Review for my Father

My father was originally going to write this review, however, as the resident millennial in the family, my father called me and promptly asked what a cookie was, and here I am.
I purchased this kit for my parents as a Christmas present as my mom loves puzzles and my dad loves Harley-Davidson motorcycled.
They recently had my 15-year old nephew (their grandson) put this together and it took him about 3 hours.
He had a blast putting it together and my parents love having this on display.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Build

I picked this up for myself as a treat. This was a really nice set to build. There were a couple times I had to look carefully at the instructions to get things right, but it came together nicely. I stretched it out over a couple nights to extend the fun.
The working pistons and moving chain are a great feature. The detail on the model is well done. It looks good on the shelf next to the cars I have built. Probably the closest I will ever get to owning a fat boy. Looking forward to what Lego will release next!

Love it . Bought two always wanted a fat boy but could t afford so this,will do just fine. Great item nice detail and moving parts. Makes a nice substitution plus no polishing.

One of the best builds ever. A lot of details. Very realistic looking model. Fatboy got parked right next to another American icon - Ford Mustang.
Highly recommend. I will probably end up getting one more, to keep it at my office.

Excellent impressionistic LEGO model of the FatBoy

I found the instructions complete and concise, and I enjoyed the build. I liked the added blurbs about Harley Davidson and evolution of the Fat Boy. The ‘LEGOized’ details make this model something you would like to display. Such as the pistons movement when the rear wheel turns (this movement and firing order gives Harley’s their distinctive sound), the gear shift, rear brake, ‘floor boards’ and handle bar levers. Now if only LEGO would do this for a Gold Wing variant like the Aspen Cade, Valkyrie, or Rune.

As an avid motorcyclist and avid lego builder, I was thrilled when lego and Harley Davidson came together and designed this Fat Boy. I hope this is the first of many motorcycle models.
I foiund the kit very challenging and enjoyable to build. The attention to detail is very realistic. The completed model sits on my shelf with other motorcycle memorabilia.
Lego, keep up the good work.

This set is great. I love how they took the time to make the pistons in the engine move even though you don’t see them. I hope they come out with a 70s style chopper next.
