Cooler than expected

I was really somewhat skeptical about this one just had a strange look at first and I didn't think there would be as much detail as there is. Was a real joy to build with very little trouble along the way.

Great Reproduction

I bought this for my granddaughter's birthday while at my Harley dealer. It looked so cool I had to get one for myself. The styling is very accurate - just wish the grey colored parts were more of a chrome or aluminum tint. Overall it was a great build.

Excellent attention to detail, very fun build

Picked this up, and built it for a couple hours a day over the course of 4 days, and it was such a great way to unwind at the end of the day. From someone who owns the motorcycle this model represents, I have to say that the details are incredible and accurate.
I absolutely love the fact that the engine pistons actually work when you roll the back wheel, and the design of every component is perfect. The model itself is a great size for display, and the finished build feels very sturdy. You can display it on an included separate stand, which will keep it upright, or you can leave it on its kickstand. Overall, excellent purchase, and was my entry back into legos after not building for over a decade.

OK but why hide the pistons?

My son and I built this as a tag team and it was a blast. The figure is awesome and fun to build and display....but why go to all the trouble to create pistons that just get hidden behind bricks? Seems like added and unnecessary detail (and possibly expense).

Amazing homage to HD

I am originally from Wisconsin and one of the companies we learn about in school is HD. We are proud of this company and its heritage! I was so excited for this lego set, when I heard about it.
Now that I put this beautiful lego set together on my stream, I found it both intricate and challenging to put together. The details were so on point for the fat boy. Down to the moving pistons and the tire wheels.
What an amazing set!

Finally got my Harley

Very impressive, well written and illustrated instructions. The build is very innovative, pistons worked perfectly, hinged rear fork for placing the rear tire. There is very little repetition of steps, always fresh. Build is very solid and no popping off of parts as you handle it. I like the sculpted smooth parts. I was in no rush to finish, just savor the moments, so I didn't track my time. Take the time to I.D. each part for placement and you will be fine. I would like to see better color definition and color separation of parts in the manual, old eyes and color blindness you know. Overall, one of my top favorite builds.
