It was a pain to get the chain on. Pops off and gets caught causing towers to fall. Hate this one.

LEGO fans have been waiting so long for an official LEGO coaster set-up, and LEGO have certainly delivered with this!
Great features and re-build-ability is through the roof! Now they need to sell smaller modular sets and spares, and they're in for a win!
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Refreshing Challenge

As mainly a Technic builder I needed a change so went for all three of the Amusement park sets - have yet to finish the Carrousel and Ferris Wheel - this set is not Technic challenging but rather be careful and mind the instructions challenging! As there are many duplicate assemblies i.e. the framework I often felt like I was working on an assembly line and at times became careless with a part or two which involved our favorite rite "Take apart and re-do" - Would have been a better build if other phases were interspersed with the same assemblies for a change of pace and to keep my total interest in place!
But otherwise this is an amazing set to watch come together and operate with the power system - you can just stand back and watch the genius of Lego in action! - I wish there were some way to move the parked cars to the main track rather than by hand such as a switch track to make the play value go up - as it no problem to run both sets of cars at the same time around the track!
You have to motorize the set for optimal fun - so don't get cheap here!

This was my first Expert Lego set, and it was awesome! It was interesting to see how the Legos were used to create the set. Great selection of Minifigures. I used my Lego Mindstorms brain to power it. There were a couple of pieces missing, but luckily I had them already so it didn't stop me from building.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm sorry to hear you were missing some pieces, though. It's a very rare problem, and usually you’ll find them stuck in the packaging, used in place of a similar piece, or hiding somewhere near your building area.
If you’ve checked all over and the parts haven't appeared, don’t worry! It’s super easy to request replacements. Just go to LEGO.com/Service and choose the “Bricks & Pieces” option to get started.

Disappointing

I love coasters so when I saw this I knew I had to have it. My husband bought this for me for my birthday and while I love the look of it, it’s completely non functioning. I have rebuilt the top of the lift hill twice. The wheels spin the opposite way so it won’t allow the coaster train to go on its own, it pushes it backwards. You have to hold the wheels out so it can go through. This is ridiculous for this price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Far Exceeded My Expectations

I was worried this would be much of the same with many pillars to build. I was quite pleased as each pillar had different building sequences, etc.
When it did finally get repetitive, it moved onto the building of the station which broke it up!
LOVE the set, it's absolutely huge and quite impressive!
ONLY negative - why did they make space for the motor on the opposite side of the track controls? It's tough to reach.
I would recommend this to a friend!

One of the best sets

I bought this set thinking it was smaller than what it turned out to be. This set is gigantic and way cooler once built. Anyone who wants this set should get it. The roller coaster is very good. Works very well with no problems. Without a doubt one of the coolest sets I own
