A fun build. Having worked in a book store this was s nice build, and i lice the modular nature of it. Hope to get more of the modular building sets.

I wanted to give my opinion on the choices the designer had to make regarding the design of both buildings. So the basement not being tall enough is actually common for houses built between the 1880's-1910's in my hometown. Which also fits the exterior design aesthetic as well. I do agree with another review that a kitchen or additional books/bookcases would have been an excellent touch rather than a backyard garden. I can see a possible extended design that may have been the original concept for these buildings. However possibly due to budget or piece # constraints the designer choose what would look best from a street view. The exteriors look great but I do feel that more interior details could have been used to fully flush out these buildings. Great job overall

I really enjoyed building this set. I like the fact that both buildings are separate. They can be combined or put on different sides of other pieces in the city scene.
