What a fun build and great looking finished product. I rather enjoyed putting this set together. I plan on building more of these even though I typically build from the Star Wars theme

Good build, making a few changes

Purchased this set late, from the box art didn't seam that appealing. Build exceeded expectations. Building are a little on the small side and looks like some interior details were cut short. Assume this was for budgetary reasons. Designers did leave room to expand on the original design which is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Build with Amazing Detail

This is my 2nd major build and I was totally amazed at the detail on the inside and outside of the bookshop and the adjoining townhouse. It was a fun build which took about 40 hours to complete. I love the fact that you can take the stories of the building off to view the inside . I have also purchased the Assembly Square, Police Station and the Boutique Hotel to complete my town. I now know why these items are always out of stock. I would highly recommend this build.

Relaxing Dioramas

Overall I think this is a great set. It's bigger than most around the same price. My only complaint is that the interiors are a little cramped, but over all I'm quite enjoying building it. Helps to relieve stress from college and real life.

Nice Addition to Modular Collection

My daughter and I started a modular set collections. I probably would have passed on this set, but she really likes it. Thus, we bought it and the build experience was better than I anticipated. It looks better in person than on the box. The color combination is great for this set and I like that it is 2 halves, with the bookshop being on building and townhouse being the other half. We decided to put the Police station modular in the middle of the 2 halves and they all look very nice together. I switch one of the light poles to space out farther apart. I do agree with others that the bookshop could use more books or better illusions of books. Also, the townhouse should have a bathroom and more of a kitchen. I read somewhere the piece count is a factor in design and pricing. If piece count is a factor, I suggest using less pieces on other elements to add elements like bathroom/kitchen. I think if a studio apartment of assembly square could have a bathroom, then so can a townhouse.
