Beautiful Build

The Bookshop modular building is a great addition to any city or a great display on a bookshelf! The architectural style pays tribute to some of the older modular buildings which I appreciate. Solid detail, features, and playability makes The Bookshop a valuable set.

Amazing Lego Set

I dont know why this set doesn't have 5 star reviews. It's honestly the best modular building I have. The level of detail is amazing for the price. I do understand that the apartment doesn't have a bathroom but overall it's still my best modular building set out of all of my modular.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice upgrades from other modular sets

I love the upgrades in the flowers and leaves. Also the railing and bedposts. But overall create detail and colors. The house is so cute inside. At first I wasn’t sure about the birch tree but I’m starting to like it. This is my favorite of the 3 modular sets I’ve build. Diner was 2nd favorite then assembly hall.

Beautiful and cozy

This set may be small compared to other modulars, but it is absolutely beautiful. The color combinations are just perfect, both inside and outside. It is so cozy and life-like. I love the stairs in both buildings. I received it as a gift for myself because I love bookstores, but my child immediately loved it and described it best - "I feel like I shrank and am inside!" I really enjoyed building the stone arch above the bookstore entrance, and the bay window and roof on the townhouse. The only thing we feel could have been better is the ladder could have used some sort of attachment to be able to hold up the mini figure while it's reaching for the airplane stuck in the tree. Other than that, we loved it all.

If you want a nice display piece, a building that slides into any city/town setting, or for a friend, this set is an optimal pick. I absolutely fell in love with this set. This was a Christmas gift from ages ago, but I never realized just how AWESOME this set is set out to be. It's warm color from the Bookshop itself, and the Apartment's blue color scheme is so great. Some of the building techniques are clever, like using black sausage pieces for the rim of the tree's base, and the use of a fuzzy minifigure boa/scarf piece for the bird's nest. Getting those leaf pieces in bright oranges and yellows are so fun and autumn-y, and those little interiors that have tons of fun details. If you don't have this building in your modular collection, what are you waiting for?

This set is very simple to build. The display outcome is nice. It can come off a bit boring compared to other Lego sets. The bookstore part could have had some more details added (like stickers of bookshelves) to make it come alive. Overall, I like it and would recommend it to someone who is just starting out with Lego building sets.
