A Must Have Set For Jurassic Park Fans!

This set is everything I wanted and more. The pictures and videos of the set you see online do not do the set justice. The Rex and gate are massive and surely a center piece of any display. The detail on all aspects of the build are superb. The articulation on the Rex allows tons of different poses for display or play. Minifigure selection is great but it could have been better with exclusive variants of Dr. Grant and Sattler. An exclusive variant of the baby Rex would have been nice too. Those are the only two negative aspects I can nit pick.
If you are a fan of dinosaurs, JP, or both, then this is the set for you. You wont be disappointed.

This was my first big LEGO build, and it didn't disappoint! It arrived sooner than expected, which was great. I enjoyed every step; not too complicated, yet still challenging and fun. I loved the movie scene shout outs on the back of the gate, especially the green jello and the toilet. If you're a fan of the movie, you'll be amused by the vignettes! All in all a great piece. Looks awesome on display!

One of the Best Sets

I immensely enjoyed building this set. The little touches like the the frog in the T Rex body to the scenes behind the gate it really made for an interesting build. The only downside on this set is that the scenes behind the gate are very tiny and it is hard to get the figures in there if you want them in the scenes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great memories coming back in 3D...

I like this set. Not love it, that’s why only four stars.
It’s a fun and not too simple built which is nice. The gate got a lot larger than I thought it was going to be and that was a pleasant surprise.
The Rex is awesome but his head is a little bit too heavy for the balljoint hinging point that causes his head to easily drop back down in some poses. But overall a great looking animal. It’s proudly standing next to the tv and it freaked out my cats for a few days.
I also started watching all five movies with my kids again and they’re having fun pointing out the different scenes in the movie that are build in, inside the back of the gate.
The four stars are mainly because of the Rex’ ‘head injury’, and maybe the slightly high overall set price...

Awesome Dino!

The T-Rex is so awesome after the build. I didn't even bother building the gate, the T-Rex takes the center stage of any Lego collection display. So good in fact, I bought another set so that when my kids grow older, they can build it also. Job well done Lego!!!

As a Jurassic Park fan, I really do appreciate all the attention to details, especially in all the scene displays. I also love all of the Easter eggs throughout the set (I won’t spoil anything for anyone)!!

Very fun build

My previous large set was the silent Mary. When I saw this was coming out, I hesitated to buy it until I saw the Lego review with the detail on the back of the gate. I started with the gate (needed the figs for photo ops) and was extremely pleased with the design and level of detail. The though the rex seems loose, he stands and poses amazingly well. A great addition to my collection. Thank you!

I am a huge Jurassic Park friend and saw this on Facebook in my Paleontology page. I knew I had to get it. It is everything I expected and more. It is for display only. Kids are mad I won’t let them play with it. Lol hey Mom has her legos too ;)
