This set is huuuuuge!

This set didn't really take my attention for a few months until I visited our LEGO store and saw the T-Rex. I thought it was just so cool and bigger than I expected, so I went ahead and bought it. Now, I knew what to expect from the T-Rex, but the gate...The gate is also huuuuge! This is a massive set and worth every penny. The only challenge now is, where do I put this because my shelves are not deep enough...Still, a great set!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Detailed Set - Great Value

This set by LEGO is an amazing value. The T-Rex is a complete build from the ground up. The giant Jurassic Park gate is sure to surprise with the key scenes from the movie. The details and overall composition of the set make it stand out against others. It is polished down to the very details all the way through each minifigure. 10/10 would recommend to fans of Jurassic Park but also LEGO.

A must have for any Jurassic Park fan

This is by far the largest set I’ve ever built, it’s three times bigger than the second largest one I’ve ever built.
This is an amazing set, the T. rex is huge, detailed and able to be posed in so many different ways. The minifigs are high quality. And the gates are massive and amazing with all of the scenes featured in the little cubbies. I messed up the gates a little and it resulted in the front part of the gates being pushed a little too far inward, it was far too late into the build to fix when I realized it and decided to go with it as it didn’t impair it’s looks or the functionality of the opening and closing gates.
Overall the whole set is fantastic. I did end up with two of the wrong pieces though, I was given two 8 stud grey plates in the feet when I needed two 6 stud grey plates, luckily I had the needed pieces on hand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pure Enjoyment

I got back into Lego during the pandemic and now my family tells me I have a problem ( I've done over 20 sets) and I am ok with that :).
I've had my eye on this set for a while now and it did not disappoint! I spent time before and after work building it and enjoyed every minute of it. I found myself quoting the movie as I was putting it all together. I especially enjoyed extreme attention to detail, specially in the electric room. If you've you done it you know what I'm talking about, if you haven't done it you'll love it.
The only semi-negative thing I will say is the lack of movement in the T-Rex head but that is not a huge deal.
I will echo the sediments of a couple others and say a Jeep (well Ford explorer) would be a nice add on at some point.

Great Set for My Shelf

I like this set a lot. My one problem is that I wish this set was at mini fig scale. It's hughe, which if great, but I really want the Original Jurassic Gate at Mini fig scale as well as some Jurassic Park Vehicles. I'm a fan of the Jurassic World stuff, but the lack of original Jurassic Sets is disappointing. This set is a step in the right direction.

Excellent Set and overwhelming nostalgia

This set took me back to my childhood! I was a neat build that captured the original movie in a way I never thought a Lego set could. It was fun and great way to not only have fun with lego but relive movie moments I enjoyed decades ago. 10/10 would love more sets like this!

2nd build

I went from a creator set to this... I did not expect it to be so difficult.
But it was a lot of fun discovering all the nods to the movie while building. Bc I'm so new to building sets I often have no idea what I'm building until it's done like the toilet.
I tend to not look too closely at the box so that things are still a surprise when I get it built (I refuse to watch movie previews for the same reason preferring instead to read a synopsis). But I saw the trex and had to have it.
My only complaints are the claws keep falling off the rear feet and the rear legs pop off too easily. That may have to do with my skill level though.
