T Rex: Fully Fleshed!

When I this set, I knew I had to have it. The sheer size of the T Rex was worth every penny. I will say that all the brown on brown work, did have me breaking out a brighter light and magnifying glass (especially on the gate!!!) in order to see what pieces went where. I didn't plan on building the gate with all the behind the scenes stuff, but finally did and was glad. It makes a statement all together and now that I've finished the fossil T Rex, will really be fun!

This was a fun build! The T-Rex is massive in person, can’t get over it. I only wish I had gotten this as a kid, then I’d be playing with this to no end. The gate is massive too, by far my biggest set to date.

This is one of the best LEGO sets I have ever seen. The T. Rex. Has movable jaws, posable legs, and boys able arms. I do find the stickers a little hard to attach in the right place, but it was worth the time. The minifig selection was great, but for a set this big, the figures must have leg printing. The T. Rex is hard to pose, because it is sort of easy to fall. But it is still an awesome centerpiece for your collection once you got the posing just right. The other part is the gate, and man is this gate awesome, it captures the look of the one in the (1993) movie. I also liked how the designers incorporated so many movie references into the gate but still made it sturdy. Overall, I would recommend this to any JP/ LEGO fan.

Honestly, I was really excited to build this. Been a JP fan most of my life. The t rex is an exquisite build. However, the gate is far from that. The gate always felt like it was going to break if I moved it in a weird way. Should've been a much more smooth build considering how expensive this set is.

This set is amazing. The dinosaur is absolutely fantastic! Although he is a bit wobbly if you don't position his feet properly. The gates are great, standing bigger than the rex. Love the foliage detail in the front. If I had a complaint: as a beginner builder, the pictures got a little hard to read with colors starting to blend and I often had a hard time finding where to place bricks. Otherwise, the set is fantastic. Lego needs more large scale Jurassic park sets with dinosaurs for adult builders!!!! I would buy them all. Well worth the investment.

Great set. I really didn't realize how big both models would actually be (quite large). The T-Rex is definitely the highlight of the set for me. It is sturdy, movable, and overall, quite a neat display piece. For the amount of pieces, uniqueness of the set, and satisfaction of my nostalgia, the price is understandable. The combination of a great LEGO set and a movie/story, both of which ruled my childhood, is quite valuable to me. No complaints for this specific set, although I do have one related to this theme...MORE CLASSIC JURASSIC PARK SETS PLEASE!!

My son is 7 years old and got this with his uncle in Louisville. This has been amazing to watch him build! He got it two weeks ago and already had it built! He loved it!
