Terrific Jurrasic Park Set!

As a fan of the Jurrasic Park movies I was looking forward to building this set. The size and look is great. I like to take pictures and had so many ideas for this set. The T. Rex has a lot of articulation which made it easy to pose. The gate with all the little movie scenes is awesome! Even the little item that's inside the T. Rex is such a nice touch for the fans of the movies. If you're a fan of Jurrasic Park or Lego I would highly recommend this set.

"Life um, finds a way."

As a big Jurassic Park fan, this set was a must, so when I got it in the mail I immediately opened it and got to building! It took me three hours for the Tyrannosaurus Rex and an additional three hours for the gate. I was so pleased with the details and Easter eggs throughout the entire build. Clever use of existing pieces and a pretty straightforward build. With it's size and detail it draws all eyes to it and I often just admire it. My kids have a lot of fun playing with it when I get it out and I like setting up the various scenes on the backside. Great set for any fan of Lego or Jurassic Park.

Great Build, Missing Pieces from a new box.

The build itself was fun, minus a design flaw? With the T Rex legs where regardless of how the rex was posed, bricks would fall off. It's an impressive piece and I'm excited to display it.
My biggest complaint is that there were MUTLIPLE missing parts from this set that was bought brand new. And while I understand there is an option to place an order for new replacement bricks, it is incredibly inconvenient to have to do it more than once for the same set.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We're sorry to hear you received a set with missing pieces. If those pesky parts aren't stuck in the box or hidden under a table, request a replacement at LEGO.build/BricksPieces-BV. If you've done so already, those pieces will be headed your way, and you'll be completing your build in no time.

Really nice, but cannot play with it

I bought this set for my 6 year old who is a huge lego fan and loves dinosaurs. He wanted this set since we first saw it announced. He really enjoyed building it, it was challenging for him but not so much, he did it all by himself.
The issue is that he was very exited after building the T-rex and he wanted to play with it ASAP, but the legs keep falling off!!! I verified that they were correctly attached (I could hear a click when attaching them) but it happens all the time whenever he tries to move it while playing. Of course if you treat it as a delicate ornament they don’t fall off, but I mean who wouldn’t want to play with such a cool dinosaur??
He is very happy with his set but it is now just sitting on top of his big pieces table as a display only. It should definitely not be that way, I think it totally takes all of its value away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I don't really have a problem with this set, as I don't think there are many flaws (except the stickers). I just wish Lego would make a Jurassic Park 1-3 line (with scenes like the sick triceratops, spinosaurus attack, etc.). Overall, this set is okay, but it just has no place in the Lego Jurassic World line.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great set, love the gate, the T rex is a great build. I hope LEGO makes more of these "brick built dinosaurs". Could be a smaller side build though, I just feel like a gate and a big T rex is to plain.

Great for any JP Fan

Ever since quarantine I’ve been getting back into building sets. I have always been a big Jurassic Park fan but was hesitant to purchase this set due to the price. Recently, after seeing ads about it everywhere, I decided to purchase this for myself as an early birthday present. I was definitely pleasantly surprised on how enjoyable the build was. With the T.Rex and the gate it’s like you’re building two sets in one. I’m definitely happy with my purchase, though the only thing is I wish it could have came with the iconic Jeep or the Ford Explorer. If I could make a suggestion to the LEGO group it would be to release a Collector’s Edition with either one of those vehicles to put on the track of the gate. That would make this set arguably one of the best out there.
