The most fun

We love Starwars and Legos, but initially hesitated on this kit because the scale was a little silly and seemed more about play than realism. What I found once I got into it was a challenging model with surprises, narrative goodies, wonderful details. It took its unfinished place on the kitchen table for nearly two weeks, and the kids were delighted with each new room. The multiple elevators pushed this into the expert level - at least the first one. In the end, we really could act out every Desthstar scene from the first three movies with delightful accuracy. Expensive, yes. A must have, yes.

Nice reissue

They should have done more to 'tweak' small things in the design. Biggest change is the price increase. Reissuing sets is, however, a good idea. This is a classic set and a great display piece. Maybe reissue the Corner Cafe?

I got this set for Christmas yesterday,I literally just started this set I'm on step 19 and I can already tell this is gonna be one of the hardest sets I have ever attempt but I love the new Darth Vader two piece helmet and the Death Star Protocol Droid head piece I would really recommend this set to those who want a real(i might just be a big dummy) challenge

Glorified Dolls house

This set is ok but would of been better if it had outer panels to make it look like the death star then remove them to play inside. minifigures are great but for the price of this set i cant help feeling slightly dissapointed.
overall its a glorified dolls house but had to get as collect star wars lego.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Death Star Build

I am the biggest Star Wars fan you will ever find. My reviews are accurate to my standards. This lego took me a quick day and five hours to build. I have been building lego's for almost 7 years now, and my parents constantly say how quick I can build them. All my reviews will only be on Lego Star Wars, as it is my favorite category of Legos. I would recommend this f you have space and a good way to view it. Im not going to put recommended Lego's below, as I have so many. But I will comment on most of the Lego's. So just look for Daqqer and you will find my reviews. Photos will come with some.
