Cute Lego

The Lego Fiat is cute and if you love cuteness, it is your dish. Meanwhile, the designer could have done a better job on the two front doors. Now the doors open by 180 degrees and they look strange in that way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the nostalgia

This is my first Lego set I have ever built, always wanted to when I was a kid but didn't have the means too. So now as an adult, with the means I'm catching up "missed" experiences. I didn't want to build for the sake of checking a box and so when I saw an ad for this Fiat 500 I knew this was the set for me. Reasoning being, I had lived in Rome for 3 years+ and the city and country has left such an impression. Everywhere, you would see a Fiat 500 and this set was reminiscent of those bitter sweet memories (plus this Fiat 500 is the closets I am going to get to the Mediterranean this summer, cause Rona). This bit of background is to say that there are a few flaws with this set which I was able to over look because of the emotions this set invoked in me. If it doesn't do that for you then maybe consider another set.
Like the other reviews the there are variances in the shade of yellow its not 100% a perfect match from brick to brick, the discrepancy I would say is around 80% its more noticeable in the light. Also the stickers which are suppose to go on the yellow aren't the same shade of yellow either. This is a bit unfortunate as Lego has a reputation for quality and plus the company is making so much schmoney for each of these sets so you think they were extra careful in QCing these yellow bricks (my assumption is that lighter colors are trickier - I didnt experience this with the Hot Rod, but again back to my schmoney comment, y'all making maaaaad schmoney for this to be an oversight). I will add a picture of where you can see the black brick through the yellow brick (its at the back roof section - this was upsetting, the other yellow mismatches was easier to swallow...). Also there were some scratches on the bricks and plastic glass. The other issue has more so to do with my lack of skills which is stickering...I would suggest getting rid of stickering (again this is probably a cost issue and some ppl might really like it, so I get it before anyone attacks this comment but honestly, it brought me no joy to sticker, matter of fact I was sweating because I was so stressed).
To conclude, I enjoyed the build and experience overall, I felt the build instructions provided variety and kept the build interesting, again this is my first set. First time making a door from Lego bricks so everything was super cool and it reminded me of my 'la dolce vita' life in Rome.

I like the interior design of the car. The size and shape are perfect. The overall building experience was great too!
2 things I don't like is the color.... Although it said the yellow makes it more lego...I still loves the classic fiat colors. Another thing is the front wheel and engine can't move

I really like the curves on this LEGO set, I have never seen those in a LEGO vehicle, I think LEGO did a pretty good job on those, you can see the gaps but I’m not too worried about them. I also really like the color that LEGO used for this set. I think it matches the car perfectly. Overall I think it was a great set even tho it was easy.

Fun, but the some pieces came with scratches

I have received my Fiat 500 not too long ago, but last night when I build it I found there were many noticeable scratches on the car's windshields... I hope to get the pieces replaced, because it really affects the look of the whole car. Other than that I love it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the fiat, but the back is flimsy when you open the boot it will fall please make a better design.

I love LEGO Car Models and this one is no exception, true to the real car and cool down to the detail. The folding canvas roof is awesome! Right up there with LEGO's Mini Cooper - one of my all-time favorites.

Quick Build Results in an Awesome Vehicle

As soon as I saw the announcement for this set, I knew I had to buy it. I have most of the other Creator Expert vehicles and this Fiat fits right in with the collection. It was great to see that they chose pale yellow because you don't see this color used very often in sets. The car was a quick build, but fun nevertheless.
