Wrong pieces

For the first time a Lego Set came without 2 pieces. Halfway through the build i noticed 2 pieces were missing. I already ordered them, but it is a bummer to stop the building experience. It is disappointing, I build Lego's to relax myself, and this set caused me stress.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really disappointed in this purchase. Just not held together as well as other sets. Loose builds. Too fragile.

Oh no! We're sorry you’re having some difficulty keeping the set together. We always test and retest our toys to make sure that they’ll hold up to play when they’re built exactly as shown in the instructions. If your set ever seems like it's not very sturdy, the best thing to do is double-check your build. Sometimes there may be a piece just a little off from where it should be. Reach out at LEGO.build/Service-BV if you'd like a hand troubleshooting the build, or if you find that any pieces aren't holding together as they should.

Playable with a catch!

This was purchased with the intent to be a showpiece, not for my children.
Let’s get the negatives out of the way:
-All windows were scratched up due to poor packaging. These should be in individual plastic wraps.

-Missing one brick that could have broken the build. Lucked out and cannibalized my child’s Lego sets. Their set is still fine haha
-Must have a soft touch to actually play with this as the seat and doors can pop off or space oddly from intended mounting. Highly recommend gluing them together. I’ve done this many times to flimsy sets for my children.
Now for the positives:
-Very engaging build.
-Fun seeing the car literally come to life which is different from technic builds that actually come to life (with motors).
-this build makes you want to take your time because it’s so rewarding.
-So many fun moving parts!
-Painting and accessories were a very nice touch.

Amazing Build

I love the color and how everything came together so amazingly. The only think I would say is there are a couple of other builds that I have done that should have been "expert". This particular build was in no way expert. Not challenging, my 8 yr old niece helped me build it. All things considered, this was a cool build!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cool but not super cool

I just ordered this and have not built it yet, but I’ve watched lots of videos about it and I have some thoughts. I have all the expert creator cars and let me start by saying that I DO like this car and I like that LEGO decided to design a car at a lower price point this time around, as the last two were quite expensive (but worth it). However, even though I like it, I don’t love it and would have to say this one is my least favorite of all the cars. When I first got the notification about this product release, it left me scratching my head a bit. There are just so many insanely cool iconic cars to design that it’s just hard to imagine this one being the best one to come up with - and if they’re going to pick this one - then why yellow? I would have done this car in a nice classic off-white or tan color. But, hey I’ll enjoy the build and I know when i”m finished I’ll be proud to display it. I’m not a big VW guy either and I still really like my beetle & bus combo, so sometimes you just have to trust LEGO and go with it. Next I would like to see them do an expert creator classic pickup truck or jeep. And BTW, the 007 car is my favorite of all, followed by the mustang - absolutely incredible designs.
I would recommend this to a friend!
