My wife gave this set for christmas as she knows I love everything Fiat related. Little did we know this would become a hobby. Ever since I've built 6 Speed Champions(Porsche Turbo, Ferrari F40, F8 Tributo, Nissan GT-R Nismo, Audi Quattro S1 &McLaren Senna) and 3 Creators(Fiat 500, Aston Martin DB5 007 & Porsche Targa/Turbo). Can't wait for they come up with next.

The last time I touched a Lego brick was when my grandchildren were tots. I've never built a kit, just messed around with bricks. I have built other complex car models (Pocher, for example), so this was a new experience.
Summary: I had a blast! It was great fun building this and it brought back memories of the first car I owned...
Nitty-gritty: It came together with only one little nit - the trunk/boot/engine compartment doesn't quite close all the way because of the tube (water line?), but I can live with that - see photo. I read a lot about people being short of parts, but I had a bunch leftover. I was short one silver part behind the wheel, but I had a leftover grey one, so just used that instead (can't be seen anyway).
Now I'm starting the Aston Martin, and seriously considering the Bugatti. I'm hooked.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Lego set

The set is amazing, I love it despite it being a more of it being a model. All I can say about it is Pros but my only Con is it does not have suicide doors like the real car, but it does look good with the normal doors. But overall would recommend 100% thank you for the good set Lego.

Greatest CREATOR Expert Set to date!

Hello builders! I just finished building this masterpiece of a set a little bit ago, and I thought that it would only be appropriate to write a review on it so people who have an eye on this set know what to expect.
I first off want to say, that, this is, without a doubt, the greatest CREATOR Expert set the line has to offer. I am saying this because the pricing of the set is absolutely perfect! Usually Expert sets like these pop off at usually over $100 USD. This set retails for $90 USD, making it a perfect set for those who want to introduce themselves to the ultimate building experience.
The color of the FIAT is absolutely perfect. It helps to stand out in almost any room possible. The wide variety of license plates included also makes the building experience more worth it.
I find this car to be very cute and awesome at the exact same time.
I also love how the set comes with a painting of the vehicle in front of the Roman Colosseum, making this Italian vehicle shine in front of Rome's beautiful architecture. The suitcase is fun to build and has fun stickers that bring the life and detail needed in order to make the suitcase more realistic.
When it comes to stickers, however, I must say that they are kind of hard to get on perfectly, however, with enough practice, it gets easier and easier every time.
In conclusion, I would give this set a 10 out of 10. If you do not like stickers, however, this set may be a bit trickier for you. I genuinely appreciate that lovely shade of yellow that is used on the car specifically overall yellows. It provides a cool vibe when building. It is fun to build and play with for all ages, whether you are a kid building and playing to an adult looking for a hobby and a way to pass the time.
This set truly defines CREATOR Expert, and I encourage LEGO to make more mini-vehicles such as these to go with the FIAT 500 in a display room.
Enjoy this building experience, everyone! This set is, and will always be, legendary...

Color doesn’t match

We bought with my son at the Lego store and didn’t built right away. My son (6) loved the car but the COLOR! The bricks are not the same color yellow. Some (lots of them ) are different shade of yellow. It looks like I had the set on display in the sun for years and some Broncos turn a different shade. I called customer service and the lady suggested to make a list of every pieces that are different shade and submit a claim. There are to many - I have to take it apart, find a number for each item and submit the claim. Too much time! I am planning to bring it back to the store - hopefully they will take it back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This Fiat 500 kit is a masterpiece of detail and fun. From the working retractable sunshade to the adorable easel and paint palette, the car is lacking no details. Typical perfect LEGO instructions led to a fun and quick build. My favorite kit to date! If you are looking for a fun kit don’t delay to add this wonderful kit to your collection.

Disappointing quality...discolorization

As other reviewers mentioned, discolorization of some bricks is quite noticeable for this kit. This is very disappointing and LEGO is not up to customers' expectation for their products.
