I bought this item after reading about how we are drinking plastic, even in our bottled water. I’m actually using it to filter my bottled water. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the glass pitcher seems a little thin and fragile.

I am currently living in Grenada and will be here for a year and wanted to make sure I did not take any risks with the drinking water. I absolutely love this product, it was easy to set up and I love that it is glass. I get water right out of the tap and can be confidant that my water is safe. I wish the other lifestraw products I purchased were as easy and as simple as this one.

I bought this a month ago and have enjoyed the filtered water for myself and family. However, I would not recommend this for a large family. If used only for drinking, the amount used would limit the life of the charcoal filter significantly. I use this for both drinking and cooking. In other words it's not ment for high volume like my family of six.

Superior to any filter I’ve tried

Obviously this is the most beautiful water filter out there... We have no shame putting it on the table when we’re hosting a dinner party which is nice! But, what we really love is the fact that it is the only filter that removes parasites, bacteria AND significantly reduces lead and micro plastics. It’s sad we even have to THINK about microplastics in our water sources, but the reality is they’re everywhere now. We also have knocked the filter against the side of the sink a few times and have had no breakage issues at all. All the function and style... Very happy with it!
