Best filtering glass pitcher :)

I really like this pitcher, because I enjoy the feeling of drinking water that I know is clean and tastes pure. This pitcher filters water fairly quickly, is easy to fill because the top comes off, and is well made. When I bought it, I was worried that the glass may be defective because of some of the poor reviews, however, the pitcher has held up just fine the last month. Even clumsy me hasn't broken it with an accidental bop on the table or a smack on the handle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the filtration but the glass breaks easily

We have had our new glass pitcher for less than a week and love everything about it. Sleek design, great filtration, etc. Unfortunately, when going to fill the pitcher, it hit the side of the sink very lightly and it shattered. Glad you sell just the pitcher replacement - we are going to give the glass one more try...

Great tasting water, but unbalanced jug

I was excited about getting a glass jug for my water filteration, but I found when full it was badly weighted and unweildly to use, making it difficult to pour water. So much so, I broke the jug within months. The handle needs to be either repositioned further down the jug, or made longer to correct the balance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this product except the glass broke!

I enjoyed this so much but the glass broke with a simeple tap against the counter. Any warrantly? It should have a rubber sleeve on the bottom to protect it

Agree Silicone Sleeve on Bottom!

So far okay. I like that pitcher is glass. I wish someone would figure out how to make a completely non-plastic counter-top water filter (filter casing and all). BPA-Free doesn't mean it's still not leaching xenoestrogens. If Lifestraw could figure THAT out, THAT would be a product people would be clamoring to buy (hint, hint). I agree with the reviwer that a silicone sleeve on the bottom would truly make the difference in user experience of the product. Setting the pitcher on my counter I have to be extra gentle and there is no grip on the counter top.

Absolutely in love with this countertop water filter! The design is so functional, I love the fact that you do not have to manually open a lid, just put it under the faucet and the lid will automatically tilt to let the water in. I love that it is made of glass. The filters seem of very high quality. Best of all - No more plastic bottles!!!

I purchased this earlier this month and the filtration is phenomenal. My only issue is that my mom does not like her water cold, so she would prefer to leave it on the counter.... but due to the spout opening it leaves the water vulnerable to being contaminated with insects. Yes even while in the house. My mom has a dog she lets out throughout the day and flying insects do fly inside the house. Also, during nice days if we want to spend time outside with family we may want to bring the picture outside. Having a cover or top for the Lifestraw Home would be perfect!!!
