We actually tried a few home pitchers at once, and this one was our favorite. It filters about a thousand times faster than the Pur brand we had before. We also did a lot of research on contaminants filtered out, and this one was definitely top quality. We've had it for a few months now and still love it! Water tastes great and the plastic pitcher has held up nicely.

Reservoir does not hold as much as the standard brita, so it takes more frequent top ups. The cap does not prevent unfiltered water from spilling over into your cup when pouring after adding more water to the pitcher. The handle is a little high up and since it's a tall design it's not as natural or comfortable to pour as the brita. I wanted a glass one after having the same plastic brita for years and it getting a little beat up looking, but not sure if this one is too inconvenient comparatively

Definitely does a good job, only issue is that it is slow to fill as the fill part is a much smaller volume. But overall very happy with it!

Worth the cost.

I'm not a big fan of how the lid works vis-a-vis adding water to the carafe. Water gets on the rim of the lid and then runs off when pouring from the carafe. The carafe itself is beautiful. More colors would be nice as well. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and the water tastes delicious!

Okay in a pinch

This does not appear to filter as well as our Berkey. We have a high algae count in our water sometimes, and I can still taste it, though not with the Berkey. When the algae isn't high, the water still has a dirt-like taste (I don't know if the unfiltered water does, as the chlorine is overpowering).
Also, the filling is a little awkward, with the flap thing in the center of the top. And it is very tall, so it does not fit on our refrigerator shelves.
We got it mostly for traveling, so it will do the job well enough. It does filter fairly quickly. Depending on your needs, I might recommend it.

Better than a Brita!!!

This is the first water pitcher we’ve had in 15 years! We like the model of the company so decided to try!
Water tastes amazing, fits well in our fridge and is very sleek in design! We had an issue with ours at first and they were very quick to rectify. Love this product!
