Problems solved!

We had been using an under-sink water filter to remove the chlorine from our city water which contains chlorine, but I could no longer find replacement filters. So I was buying gallons of spring water for us to drink and to prevent copper stains around our dog’s mouth caused by the copper in our pipes.
The easy fill-pitcher has made every day so much easier as I no longer have to worry about running out of bottled spring water or carrying heavy jugs from the store. And it saves me money too!
I also purchased a year’s worth of replacement filters at the same time as my pitcher, so I don’t have to worry about replacements for a year! And the replacement filters are so much smaller than the old filters I had used so they save space too! Thanks, LifeStraw!!!

Beautiful pitcher - awful tasting water

The glass pitcher is lovely but the water tastes awful and has a thick filmy texture. I’m afraid I’m not drinking enough water now because it tastes so bad I can’t bring myself to drink it. I’m not sure if I should keep the pitcher but I’m trying to see if I can get used to it.

I was not quite sure about it initially because it does take awhile to fill it up, although that steadily improves as the filter becomes saturated. I tend to fill it up after every use now. The water that comes from this is just as pure and refreshing as it can be and it's very satisfying to know that the water I am drinking is really as good as it gets. The pitcher is high quality and beautifully made.

Beautiful Design

I've used several Lifestraw products since the beginning of the first Lifestraw. Always happy that I invested in quality. And I was initially attracted to the design of this product - elegant for the home as a better design than others. The glass is a great concept. It was a nice look - but what didn't work for me was the practicality of the system in regards to providing a 'time efficiency' filtration for a family. It just took too long to filter while requiring a lot of refills and wait time. I returned the order without any problems and this is a reflection of the company as well - good standards of business shine through - even when it means a return. I'm considering looking at a purchase of a more practical system - such as those designs that address larger water needs. This may give me what I'm really looking for. I'd possibly reccomend the sleek glass design for a solo-persons source of good clean water.

Water is good. Pitcher is heavy. Very slow to filter 2 cups of water. If you’re busy you never get 7 cups of water filtered. Wish it listed the filtering rate, like 2 cups per hour or ~2 oz/5minutes.

I purchased my pitcher earlier this month. I trusted the process and waited till my third refill to see if it would be quicker and it was. However, it gets a little heavy, but I'm still enjoying it and sharing good water with my dog.
