Seems effective, but reservoir could be bigger

I wanted this filter pitcher because it was mostly free of plastic, though it isn't completely. It seems to filter well, and it's a good size. However, the reservoir is pretty small, and the water filters through it slowly, so it takes about four times to fill the pitcher. It also must be removing minerals, because the water in New York City is known for its delicious taste but this filter makes it taste like nothing. I am a little disappointed by that, although I know some people might want it.

Started to leak after 6 months

We love ours and use it every day for all of our water and ice we want to make. It’s great and the best part is how much water it can hold at once while not taking up a huge area of the fridge. After 6 months of continuous use, it has started to leak from the bottom of the pitcher in the fridge, where the bottom and top of the pitcher come together.

Good filter but VERY slow

I have been using my lifestraw pitcher at home for a few weeks. It is a high quality filter with a nice glass pitcher but is EXTREMELY slow filtering at a rate of 10-12 drops per minute. We are a family of four and it just cant keep up.

It s ok. It filters a very small amount of water. I misunderstood the amount of water it would filter from the size of the pitcher. Most of the pitcher size is to hold the filter. The water is only in the bottom three inches, so maybe one glass of water. It takes overnight for the water to drip out of the filter. I had hoped it would be a big pitcher of water, like to put on the table at meals, or to fill the coffee pot. It is not. It is like a personal filtration system, like for a single glass. I will save it for a disaster preparedness situation. I'm still looking for a pitcher the family can use.
