Catches plastic particles bit very slow and small filter reservoir

This is a heavy glass pitcher that I found to be the only filtering pitcher to catch plastic particles. The filtering reservoir is very small and requires refilling multiple times to fill the pitcher. And cost is a factor. The only reason I don’t go with my brita is the plastic filtering.

Nice to have glass!

I bought this filter to replace my Zero Water Filter because I wanted to eliminate microplastics in my drinking water. It's really nice to have a glass pitcher, and the Lifestraw filters quickly and efficiently. The only thing I don't like is that the water doesn't taste sweet like it does with my other filter (which removes dissolved particles). So I'm still using my Zero Water filter for my daily drinking water, but I'm using the LifeStraw for making coffee & tea and for cooking. I guess I could pour the LifeStraw water through my other filter and have the best of both worlds.

Life Straw Home filter pitcher

I have the 7-cup glass pitcher and it is great. It is not fast at filtering but I expected that since the water goes through two filters. I was happy to find a filter that filters out forever chemicals such as pfoas since I live in an area that has been contaminated.

I was happy to find as glass carafe, since I’m on a mission to minimize plastic in my life. Everything about this work extremely well. I also like that Life Straw helps people most in need.

This pitcher is good and the water tastes fine. I do not think that it filters enough such as fluoride and that is disappointing. To be fair I have not seen a filter (pitcher) that filters fluoride.
