I’m very pleased with my LifeStraw pitcher. I’m thrilled that it filters PFAS/PFOS and filters the water quickly. The well water tastes delicious.

Relief

I have a one year old and we live in a country where there is clean running water from the pipes. But they are lead pipes and the water is heavily chlorinated. Additionally, the water table is shallow and the public water system is plagued with contamination from sewerage system and pit latrines. I resorted to buying bottled water from his birth but we all know the risks of plastic breakdown products leaching into the water contents of these bottles. When I read that this filters not only 99% of bacteria and viruses, but lead and plasticizers, I was truly impressed and finally found relief in what I give my baby to drink. I use it all the time and will be purchasing the to-go version. Keep up the good work. P.S. I've been looking for a dipstick measure for at home water testing that covers plasticizers. Maybe you guys could do that too.

Good design but slow

I like the design and the filtered water tastes good but the slow rate and limited capacity of each filling is inconvenient. I keep having to go back and fill the canister again and I’ve never gotten the 7 cups of filtered water in the pitcher.

This has been a game changer for me. The water tastes great and there is enough for both me and to fill the cat’s bowls every day. I keep a reserve of 2 gallons of this filtered water in two glass gallon jugs. It’s a relief to not have to buy and lug several of the gallon plastic water containers every week.

Fantastic— have already shared with 2 other family’s who then purchased their own. Recommend people do a taste test comparing water filtered through LifeStraw versus their other mode— at room temperature and it’s easy to experience the difference.
