We recently purchased several dozen to include in the safety kits we are giving to our employees. The majority work out of office on construction job sites, and we live in a State where the next earthquake could be a 8 to 9. Water is going to be hard to come by, but we have plenty of sources!

It does not work!!!

I used it thinking I can drink from the creek when making trails. I tested it at my house using soda and when I drank it, it went through but when I spit the soda out to see if it would make it turn into water, it was near the same color and taste. So I just dye water with regular food dye. This also came out the same shade of yellow. I would be nice to know if it is defective or if it is being used wrong. If it cant filter a food coloring, how can it filter bacteria?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
