Noiser Than Expected

This dishwasher cleans well but unexpectedly generates an irritating noise whenever the drain pump engages, i.e., the pump cuts on and off three or four times before remaining on to fully drain the unit. According to the material that came with the machine, this is normal. Perhaps the noise would be more tolerable if a reason was given as to the need for this off and on cycling and the accompanying noise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've put really dry dirty dishes, pans & silverware in regular clean, and that's what comes out..clean items

Very disapponted!

I do not like this dishwasher. Its new and my silverware come out very spotted, glasses have a white film on the tops and it is very wet inside afterwards. I do not want to use the heat boost if it is heating for over an hour.

Has Downfalls

First let me say that I have always loved GE appliances. There are just a couple things I found that could be improved on this model. Several times when the cycle was done I noticed that the soap dispenser was still basically full--the first time I thought there was a problem. I have come to realize that our dinner knives placed in the center of the lower tray were getting in the way when the dispenser opened. The other item that bothers me is that the prongs for the dinner plates are further away than my previous GE dishwasher so I can't place some of my bowls in that area which I used to do.

Poorly made, cheap, cheap, cheap! Does not clean well at all. Terrible utensil holder....you have to be very dilegent when placing utensils in holder, if they are leaning on each other, they don't get clean. Have appliance two months and already the top rack broke and I am returning
