High quality items, better than I expected or could have put together myself. The eye protection is a specially nice touch (my wife is single sighted). I added a compass, suture set, some drugs and several Bic lighters (I like multiple ways to start fire) and now I'm ready to survive.

I bought the Seventy2 originally for cross country road trips with my family, but ended up using it during last years deadly cold snap in Texas. We were without electricity and the elements came in very handy and gave me peace of mind. I decided to purchase an additional bag for my dad's birthday this year (and I snapped up an Athena for myself as well). Thanks!

Haven't field tested it but I am incredibly impressed with the quality of the components. Having the instructions printed literally onto the canvas insert makes it a no brainer to uise in an emergency. It's a weighty piece of equipment but given that it's a dry bag its great for marine environments.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great But...

It’s a bug-out bag. Hopefully will never have to use it! That said if I have to use I’m ready... I will add a few things. All in all, I think it is well thought out and organized. Just add CAT tourniquet, HyFin chest seal and Celox Gauze. I bought a second for my son. It’s that good.

Mis-matched Quailty

Over all this is a good jump off bag but a few off the accessories are very low quality for the price. The match container is very thin and worries me that it will break pretty quick. I tried the multie-tool pliers on some small copper wire and seems like that it isn’t suited for much actual work it already nicked the wire cutters. Probably the single biggest disappointment is the “hand crank, solar charger, battery backup radio combo”. I charged it over night to fully charged. And it was 100% completely dead flat less than 2 weeks later, with no use. Not sure if it’s a bad battery of a short or something. My suggestion it to use this pack and customize it and replace some of the low quality products as you can afford it. My worry is that they were more worried about branding on the items than the quality of a few of the items.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
