The machine takes up space and doesn't fold away. One dedicates floor space to the machine. The screen is not backlit, which has proven to be a frustration. One of the primary movement joints' bolts keeps coming loose and falling out. The conversation from recumbent bike to elliptical training is very smooth and easy. One's feet slide off the pedals, however, in the recumbent bike position. All in all, it's a reasonable machine for cardio workout, but for the bolt falling out. But we are not "wowed" by it.
Pros: Quiet, Sturdy Base
Cons: Bolts falling out, Hard To Store, Wobbles Under Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Right out of the box the console was broke. BUT, all I had to do was make a phone call and wait 5 days, a new console came in the mail and we were back up and cycling. So I give it at least a 4 1/2over all, 5star for service!
