Great Set for a Train Lover

The trains speak to each other when they are beside each other which really made my little guy excited and makes this different than other sets. The bridge is one of his favorite things about this. We love that the tracks can be made into different configurations to change things up. Very well made, definitely recommend.

Entertaining and fun train set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this train set as a free product for my granddaughter. She enjoyed her train set and loved all the little features it had. The rail way switches and train noises kept her happy and she was playing with the train set for hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love trains and were so excited to play with this toy. It definitely requires adult assistance for young kids (mine are 3 and 4) because the pieces of track can be tricky to snap together. There are a lot of pieces in terms of building the track. Each piece of track is labeled on the bottom so it is easy to match to the manual when building the track. Make sure it is in a spot where you will want to keep it for some time because it isn’t easily moveable once set up, you will have to take it apart and rebuild. Both trains talk and even communicate with each other on the track. It is really neat to be able to use the switches to be able to direct the trains along the track. And it looks like this can be combined with other tracks from the same brand which is pretty cool.

Fun, communicating trains!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter received this right before her 5th birthday. She loves it! She helped put all the stickers on everything, quickly figured out the stop and go handles, and loves the 'delivery tunnel.' The little piece that goes in the tunnel, where the mail box or boulder sits doesn't stay connected very well, but she quickly learned to readjust it before placing the mailbox or boulder inside. Thomas and Percy will stop and talk to each other when one of them stops. She really loves that! All of her motorized Thomas (and friends) trains work with this set. We bought her the glow set for her pervious birthday and she likes this set even more! The instructions come with the different ways to set the train up and we have tried all of them. Her glow set connects well, too.

Clever, good for small hands, durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Made up for our struggles with a different set (all problems since resolved with that one). The talking and start/stop control between Thomas and Percy is very clever. The build quality easily withstands rough little boy hands. We have it set up on carpet which might cause some of the high points in the track that can stall the engine. But, the little guy is playing an hour with this every day since we received it and he just locks in.
