Awesome Thomas Set!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has to be one of our favorite sets. 35 piece set!! Comes with Thomas and Percy. With two boys that was perfect. Each one had a train they could play with. The tunnel and bridge are great additions. It’s cool to hear the trains interact with each other. Several layouts you can create. I would definitely recommend this set for any Thomas fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great Thomas set! Easy to set up and my boys love it. There's so much to do! The highlights of this set include a tunnel that drops cargo, a boat that stops the train when at the port (so it can get its load), a bridge as well as a Thomas and Percy train that talk to each other and light up! This set has kept my boys busy for days now. Even the box was impressive. (They played with it while I set up the tracks lol). The inner flaps that nobody sees in stores had an attractive lineup of trains printed on them and the front of the box had a gold foil sticker that my boys promptly removed and stuck in various places. This company really values quality and customer experience.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Interactive train set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very interactive train set. My child has a wonderful time playing with this and it helps teach children to focus and concentrate to correctly switch the tracks for the trains to keep running properly.
The instructions give 3 layouts for the tracks but you could build your own layouts as well. The age range for this train set is listed as 3+ but it would not be an independent play toy for that age, it does require help assembling and disassembling the tracks and bridge correctly.
Assembly of the tracks is easy and when you get the set, you just have to add the stickers to some pieces. Thomas and Percy trains do talk and interact with each other.
Our Percy train seems to have issues with the switch tracks and gets stuck or derails at them no matter how the tracks are laid out, so you have to nudge him back on. The tunnel has a boulder holder that goes inside Blue Mountain but ours does not stay in place very well and keeps falling out.
Overall, I think it is very good train set, especially if your child loves Thomas and Friends like mine does.

Hours of fun!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love this Thomas train set! My 4 yo son, 7 and 9 yo daughters and even my teenage boys have joined in the fun with this set. It was pretty easy to assemble. Thomas and Percy talk and make train sounds and go over the bridge and through the tunnel. There's a stop with water and a boat to load. My kids love using the levers to stop the trains and change their course. Kept them busy for hours on and off throughout the day. Well constructed fun. Highly recommend the Thomas &FriendsTalking Thomas and Percy Train set by Fisher Price!! It's a good price too! Well worth the complete talking train set; no other parts needed.

Very fun train set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves this train set and the fact that the trains will stop and talk to each other! It was easy to put together and it had 3 configurations in the instructions. I liked that the pieces were all labeled to match the instructions. The only thing that we noticed was the tunnel seemed too long for the spots in the track where it was supposed to fit. The tabs to connect the tracks may not hold up long term if your child doesn't pull them apart gently. Overall, it's a great set that my child (and my husband) have got alot of use out of!

Very nice set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set came in an excellent package that my daughter was excited about. We were happy to see that Thomas and Percy came with batteries and you could hear them before opening the box. The set was very easy to put together. We chose layout number 3 of 3 and it took about 40 minutes to put together, which includes taking out of the plastic bags, sorting pieces, putting on stickers, and putting the pieces in order. We love the water and the boat and how you move the boat to release the train to let it continue on its journey.
There are two things about the tunnel set up I would like to mention. The first being the fabric on the tunnel is very loose. We didn't like the look of the looseness of the tunnel, so to correct that we put in two S4 track pieces, one in the middle of the TU4 tunnel track pieces and one after PL to even it out and that tightened up the tunnel very well. We like the look of the tighter tunnel and have included a before and after look of the tunnel to show the difference. Personally we like the tighter look.
The second item we want to mention also involves the tunnel. The piece the boulder sits on sometimes comes out of the walls of the tunnel, which prevented the boulder from failing into the cargo train. The boulder if put in the wrong way would get stuck on the sides and not fall down into the cargo train. It was also a very delicate balancing act to get the boulder to sit just right and it took a while to get it just right. It was a very frustrating learning process for my daughter and for me but we get it right now more often then wrong. So it may take some time to learn how to put the boulder in just right so it falls down into the cargo train and not into the tunnel. I am thinking this could be why the fabric is a bit loose, as it was easier to retrieve the boulder when the fabric was looser then when we tightened it up.
Overall we love the set and have had many hours of fun playing with it and connecting it to our other Thomas sets! I would highly recommend this set to any Thomas fans!

Disappointed

Just received this yesterday.. my son loved it until a few hours went by and the trains stopped moving around the track. They’re still talking so I know it isn’t batteries. So disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
