This is the ice maker to get! Makes ice that is the ideal size and texture. Unit looks great in the kitchen as well. Plus, Newair stands behind their product. First class all the way.

I recently got this ice maker and we use it so much more than I thought! It’s perfect for get together so, but also every day. It’s super easy to use and we love always having ice!

Fantastic ice! Only produces as needed so it’s not continually producing ice like I would expect and a little loud when it’s producing, but overall great machine.

When Your FREEZER icemaker Can't Keep Up....

This is one of the best small appliances that meet the needs of a very active family of five. With kids in sports (ice hockey) and everyone demanding ice for their refillable bottles, the impact on our refrigerator/freezer with ice maker was negative. The freezer could not keep up with the demand and does not. So, this NewAir Countertop Nugget Ice Maker is the answer. We put it on our countertop, added water, and let it go to work. I want to say it's about 12 minutes from the time the water enters to the first batch of these cute, crunchy, and chewable ice nuggets appear. The kids love them. We've even made slushies with them without turning on the blender! Holiday perfect, and the ice is tasty, no plastic taste, refreshing, and great for munching on (if you are into that which I am!). Really a fantastic appliance and one we will use for years to come! Parties, water bottles, summer, sports, etc! Plug it in. Rinse out the basket (before first use), allow the first few batches to be tossed out (when you use it for the first time) and then, let the ice-making begin! Enjoy by the mouthful or the cupful!

Broken at the factory

The unit came in the mail Nov 17th 2020. I put water into it after cleaning the unit to start the self clean function. When I push the self-clean function, water started running out the back of the unit. It feels like they need better quality control at the factory. Waiting for an email from them to tell me how to proceed after contacting customer service..

The Good Ice!

I bought this unit two weeks ago and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Nugget ice is my favorite because it always seems to make drinks taste better! Now I can have nugget ice at home. My only regret is I did not buy it sooner!

Who doesn’t love the good Ice!!

Bought this ice machine because I wanted the good ice. And at 40 lbs a day we never run out. I work away from home every other day and having the good ice is like a little bit of home while I’m gone. I even got ice bags so if friends want the good ice I can sent them home with a bag. It took me a while to make buy but now I wish I wouldn’t have waited. Great machine
