THAT GOOD HOSPITAL ICE!

I received this nugget ice maker and first lets talk about shipping it was fast and packaged well. The ice maker was easy to set up with no fuss. It’s compact, slim and we love the stainless steel look in our kitchen. The unit produces ice very fast so if your having a gathering or small party this is the unit for you. I love that crunchy ice that’s usually at hospitals and this one makes the same exact kind. The kids and I love it!!
This unit is not loud like most ice makers but you do hear it. The only con is that I wish I would have had this sooner. It’s a great product hands down.

New Air Nugget Ice Maker

I had my mind made up to purchase a nugget ice maker from another company when I saw a YouTube unboxing and review for the New Air ice maker. I bought the machine and set it up the following day. The machine worked for two days and then suddenly stopped producing ice. I regret making this expensive purchase.

Perfect Crunch-able Ice & Great Customer Service

I bought this for my wife about 2 months ago as she loves crunching on ice all day. She loves Sonic ice and as I started googling ice makers that produce something similar this caught my eye. The ice maker quickly pumps out ice though is a bit on the noisier side of things.
About 6 weeks in the ice maker suddenly would freeze up and wouldn't complete the cycle. I called customer service and they were very helpful and acknowledged that a few of the early production units may have a problem like this and promptly replaced my ice maker. The new one is working great and we have plenty of ice now. I certainly would recommend this ice maker to others.

The GOOD Ice!

I have the NewAir Countertop Nugget Ice Maker (NIM040SS00). It's hard for me to gauge sizes when buying online and I was a bit worried at first but this ice maker is great. It fits below my upper cabinets and is fairly slim in width as well.
We read through the instructions and followed setup steps (which were very minimal). Then we added water and had perfect nugget ice fast! It worked especially well when we had a party recently and were able to have enough ice for everyone's drinks!
Overall, slim (and tall) design. The stainless steel looks great in any setting. While you can hear the ice maker, it's not too overpowering.
Love this ice maker and has been working great! We've been using daily for almost two weeks now with no issues. I wish we would have had this several years ago when I was pregnant and wanted to eat ice all day long!

Nugget ice machine

When the ice bucket is full, it will just melt. It will not start after ice melts down. It has to constantly be restarted. I love the ice though. I would not buy again. I’d get an opal ice machine next time.

Makes Ice Fast!

I couldn't wait to try the new nugget ice maker! I love nugget ice and now I get to have it at home. This machine makes ice super fast! In just a few minutes you can start making a new batch of ice (no more shopping for ice for summer parties!). It's easy to get started, clean and maintain. It doesn't take a ton of space on my countertop and fits perfectly underneath my upper cabinets.

Nugget ice in just a few minutes!

NOTE: I received this ice maker for free in exchange for posting a review here.
After setting the ice maker up and adding water, ice nuggets started making their way out in less than 10 minutes. The ice bucket was full in under 2 hours, with about 2.2 pounds of ice.
It can be a bit loud while running (around 72dB), but as soon as the ice bucket is full, it stops running.

Finally, I can have the “good ice”!

I’ve always been obsessed with this particular ice. I like to call it the “good ice” haha! I like to chew on ice but I know it’s terrible for my teeth! But when I can get the nugget ice, I’m able to chew without feeling like I’m hurting my teeth! Now, i have my own nugget ice maker and it’s fantastic. It makes a ton of ice each day...Plenty enough for my family of 5. And I really love how compact it is. I don’t have a ton of counter space so I can’t have something that takes up too much space. This fits my families needs perfectly! I love having “the good ice” every day now :)
